INTRODUCTION:
RoboCop is able to save the day once-again, and is finally able to go back to his old Precinct. But not everyone in New Detroit wants him on-line, and they will stop at no end to make sure he's treated just as any machine would be: with little regard. But what if ''he'' were to fall-into the wrong hands...
*insert suspenseful music* :)
After tackling a bomb, and taking the blunt of the ensuing explosion, RoboCop returns to his old Precinct, and is met by the fanfare of former-colleges. But DARC operative Mayor Goodrich wants him out of the picture, and has RoboCop taken-away, and accordingly hijacked. RoboCop ends-up in the laboratory of cyborgress Marta Kludge, who is insistent on controlling RoboCop and planting a secret DARC directive into his program. The only problem, is that Miner and Neumeier will stop at no lengths to get THEIR comrade-back. In time, they do just that and create their own two-person rescue-party for RoboCop. Once there, they crush Kludge's plans, yet she escapes to destroy another day. But it seems as though the secret directive, in RoboCop, WAS successfully implanted...

THE EPISODE...
[Time: The Near-Future]
[Date: 2020]
[Place: New Detroit]
In the continuation of ''Justice Reborn: Part One,'' this episode begins where the first left-off. After Murphy lept onto the bomb-infused droid, it explodes and Miner, Neumeier, and Reed rush over...worried for their comrade...
MINER: ''He trew himself on that bomb, to save us...''
REED: ''That's RoboCop all over...''
ROBOCOP: ''Mmmm..mmm...''
NEUMEIER: ''Systems are coming on-line...''
REED: ''He's not just some clanking machine!''
MINER: ''Murphy? Are you alright?''
After a tense moment, a severed hand sparks and gives them a thumbs-up.
REED: ''Good old Robo.''
The scene changes back to the Precinct, where Robo is met with cheers from old comrades and the like.
Neumeier trails him, trying to make repairs, and accordingly gets knocked-down from ''tail-gating'' TOO close. Reed mentions that he's saved Robo's old locker, and after a brief moment of thought, Robo goes directly to it...
ROBOCOP: ''My locker...''
...And While He gazes inside at a photo of his once wife and son, and touches it for a moment in rememberence, Miner and Reed talk of who's juristiction he's under...
REED: ''He's RoboCOP, C-O-P, NOT RoboFED. He belongs HERE...''
MINER: ''It's not up to YOU to say where he belongs...''Though, technically, it was Division Alpha that reactivated RoboCop, the city mayor, Lincoln Landowl Goodrich, interrupts (from the first episode, it was made-clear that he's been bribed, and works under DARC), and the ''esteemed'' News-reporter Gerald Prattle is on-location in the Precinct for the latest news.
GOODRICH: '' ''IT'' belongs to the New Detroit city government...''
Goodrich goes on to complain of ''IT''s unauthorized use, and orders one of his men to take RoboCop away... The man gulps once, and approaches the stationary Robo, asks nicely for Robo to follow him, and which Miner and Reed yells for Murphy to NOT go with Goodrich, the man begins tugging on Robo. Nothing moves. He pulls harder. Still nothing, Robo doesn't budge. While the man grabs onto his arm, RoboCop clamly raises his arm, and the man with it, saying, quite calmly...
ROBOCOP: ''Careful; We must ALL work together to reduce work-place injuries...''
Robo sets the man down, not ''gently'' exactly, but well-enough. Goodrich is not exactly pleased, and resorts to a more DIRECT approach to controlling RoboCop, with a small, hand-held transmitter which over-rides all of Robo's systems, causing him to obey the whims of the remote-control , and a VERY pleased Goodrich. Goodrich guides the now zombie-like Robo into a waiting SWAT van, which lowers considerably, due-to his weight. There, his systems are put off-line and the van heads-off towards the police storgae-unit. But Goodrich, on the other-hand, has OTHER ideas. HE calls-ahead to make sure they...
GOODRICH: ''...DON'T make it...''
On the side-lines, outside of the Precinct, Miner grumbles...
MINER: ''Local idiots, They think they OWN the world...''
REED: ''Well I'M local, little Miss Washington D.C.''
MINER: ''So Now you're DEFENDING that jerk?!''
Neumeier, on the other hand, has since pulled-out a small, hand-held tracker, and after getting Miner and Reed's mal-focused attention, he proudly notes that they can still catch-up with Robo, because Neumeier had cleverly installed a homing transmitter on him. After Miner and Reed fight the urge to strangle Neumeier for not mentioning this earlier, she and Neumeier begin to head-off after him, but Reed stays behind...
REED: ''No, wait. I took an oath to follow orders, even IF the orders are given by jerks... But if Murphy needs ANYTHING, strickly on an off-duty basis, just let me know.''
Miner and Neumeier get in her ''sporty'' red car and she burns-rubber out of there. Not far ahead of them, Choppers marked with the DARC symbol shoot the SWAT-van carrying RoboCop off course, then gas the policemen inside before hijacking the vehicle. Miner, a MORE than ''effective'' driver catches-up, and Neumeier complains about the sesitivity of his equipment, and that he wants to be dropped-of. Miner notes that there's no time and begins trying to side-swipe the van off-course with nice little ''taps.'' Inside the van, Robo unconsciously mumbles...
ROBOCOP: ''Mom? Are we home yet?''
Only a moment later, the van soars off a dock, into the water and disappears as Miner's car screeches to a halt. The two jump out in time to see the rising bubbles, but nothing more. Neumeier mentions that he can't be under-water too long, but soon-after the van is retrieved, but Robo is no longer in it. Goodrich arrives, in his luxurious white car, and yells at them, that he won't authorize a search, etc. ANd Miner responds by throwing HIM in, after he wouldn't recognize RoboCop as anything more than product, and SURELY not her partner. Goodrich flails about before being helped back out of the water, amid smirks from the OTHER police-officers. Neumeier is about to toss the tracer in as well, thinking it's use is over-with, but Miner stops him and finds the tracker to read that Robo's signal is across the water in Canada...
Cut to a submarie, that is just emerging from the waters inside a factory. There, Marta Kludge watches as RoboCop's life-less form is lifted out and moved into her laboratory, wherein she begins to shock him, and converses coldly with him, about her PLANS for him...
Not far away, Miner steers a small-propelled boat in the transmitter's direction. As Neumeier looks-on, the beacon stops, and a POLICE boat with a search-light pulls beside them, taking Miner and Neumeier back to New Detroit, as Miner and he hope for the best.
Back in the Laboratory, things are not going well, and in a feeble attempt to catch Marta, Robo launches a net with one arm, wuich doesn't find it's target. Marta speaks of how she wants RoboCop reprogrammed and, with her assistants, are able to take over Robo's systems, calling for ''Total Robo-Activation.'' Robo's systems suffer under the stress as a small fan pops out from the side of his helmet to dissipate some smoke.
ROBOCOP: ''Is it hot in here, or is it just meee.....''
All-the-while, DARC's secret directive is to be implanted...
Back in New Detroit, a snivvling Goodrich, wrapped in a towel, complains of assult, etc. by Agent Miner, who insists she was acting in the best-interests of an Alpha Agent. Through a view-screen, Alpha Prime watches-on, then speaks...
PRIME: ''We have no juristiction in Canada. As a government agent, ''officially,'' there's nothing you can do...''
After agreeing that he would drop all charges if Miner was removed from the case, Goodrich makes sure there are no ''hard feelings'' between he and Miner. She storms out in though, while he sneezes. Outside, she contemplates by the street, as Neumeier walks up to her...
NEUMEIER: ''I can't believe you just caved-in like that...''
MINER: ''Alpha Prime was just throwing Goodrich off. When he said there was nothing I could do ''officially,'' he meant I should do something ''UN''officially... ...at least, that's what I hope he meant...''
Back in the lab, RoboCop continues to reject the over-ride of his systems, and the new programming. Kludge become frustrated, but for a brief moment, there is compassion in her words...
KLUDGE: ''I know what it's like to be half-human, half-machine. When explosives are your life, you end-up like this, heh, like you. I've built many weapons-systems, but non quite like you...''
ROBOCOP: ''I'm not a weapons-system, I'm a man.''
KLUDGE: ''We'll see...''
More jolts of pain reverberate through Robo's frame as Miner and Neumeier, again, search for him by-water. Neumeier is able to duplicate Goodrich's signal over his modem, in response, RoboCop begins doing uncontrollable push-ups...
MINER: ''How do we know it's even.. working?...''
NEUMEIER: ''I hadn't thought of that...''
With only a moment of thought, he remembers Robo's emergency-flares. Inside the laborartory, one goes of and shoots across the room, startling everyone, and discoraging the two outside. Then Robo stands on his head and begins to circle around, annoyed, he speaks-up...
ROBOCOP: ''Humiliating me will get you no-where...''
Suddenly another flare goes-off, and makes it's way through the sky-light, into the sky as Miner turns the craft towards the mark, with quick accuracy. Inside, Kludge and her assistants are trying to figure-out what's going-on as RoboCop changes posistions and begins doing Russian-kicks on the lab-table. Outside, the boat heads for a ramp, and beyond that, a glass wall of windows around part of teh factory...
MINER: ''Hang-on, Neumeier.''
NEUMEIER: ''Why do you always have to SAY THAT?!''
The two crash though, and Kludge quickly activates some rather large robots to take them alive, so that she can find-out what they know.
NEUMEIER: ''Doors aren't good-enough, we have to break-through WALLS...''
Neumeier turns on everything in the room, which happens to also include a robot assembly-line, to confuse the robots' sensors, as Miner plays with some of them. He then goes to get RoboCop back on-line with what appears to be a large 9-VOLT battery... ***Hmm.. who would've known.. :) *** He's reactivated just as Kludge and Neumeier begin to struggle for control...
KLUDGE: ''Get away from MY RoboCop!''
ROBOCOP: ''Miss Kludge, I didn't know you cared...''
A short fight ensues, wherein Neumeier trys to get RoboCop to leave, he respondes by saying simply...
ROBOCOP: ''I can't leave my partner...''
Miner continues the fight, activating a neat little arm-shield, which blocks one of the robot's shots, but throws her across the room...
MINER: ''Whoa! They really know how to build those things!''
RoboCop joins the fray, activating his ''Cable-Arm'' to take-out a baddie...
ROBOCOP: ''You HAVE heard of the long arm of the law...''
The two continue to dismantle the small army and RoboCop gets use of many new ''Gadgets.'' When they are through, Miner smiles and turns to Murphy...
MINER: ''You can back me up, anytime, partner.''
They turn in time to catch-up with Neumeier and watch Kludge's sub submerge. After a brief discussion, Miner comments...
MINER: ''DARC stands for the Directorate for Anarchy, Revenge, and Chaos. If Marta Kludge is makng bombs for DARC, this peace-conference isn't going to stay very peaceful...''
As Miner fades-off the sub is slowly seen entering what appears to be a sunken-boat, the ''Joan DARC,'' wherein Kludge speaks to the mysterious head of DARC, Mr. Brink. There Kludge explains that the secret directive WAS implanted in RoboCop, but that it wasn't tested. Mr. Brink is upset, but decides to put a back-up plan into play, the destruction of One-World Villiage, and everyone in it....
*insert suspenseful music* :)
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Well, although you almost over-look it, the first trilogy IS dated 2020, and though the timeline might be considered just as confusing as that of the other series, movies, and in general, for all practically purposes it works... well MOST of the time... refer to Oops! or ''Did You Notice...?'' for more on that topic... This also makes for the assumption that the ''team'' has been working together for 10 years or so after the trilogy is over.. interesting... but what about Miner's son Matt.. nevermind... :)
EMOTIONAL NOTES:
Poor Murphy, gazing into his locker at the faces of his ''family,'' reaching-out to ''touch'' them... That was heart-wrenching, and I, for one, am VERY glad the thrust of one of his inner-conficts carrying-through into RoboCop: Alpha Commando.
Well, it's nice to see that now Miner is refering to Murphy as just that, ''Murphy,'' and not ''robot.'' And aside from the fact that she's SLOWLY learning to put-up with Neumeier, she and Murphy have come to a sort of unspoken loyalty to their ''partner.''
COMEDIC NOTES:
Well, besides the slow but steady on-slaught of puns, many of which are listed in the episode section of the page, AND the accompanying comments about Miner's driving... ^_^ one might note that to get RoboCop started, Doctor Neumeier appears to always carry with him a large 9-VOLT sort of battery, ''just in case.'' Always good for a jump-start. Wouldn't you say? :)
Another ''cute'' addition to the backdrop was the name of the sunken boat Mr. Brinks was in, home of some of the DARC Operative, is the ''Joan DARC.'' ''Joan of Arc?'' Get it? No explainations needed. :)
OOPS! or "Did You Notice...?:
[The Scene: When RoboCop goes to look-into his locker.]
Doesn't seem so bad. Right? There's just ONE little problem. The date, according to this episode, and the previous, ''Justice Reborn: Part 1,'' is 2020. Accordingly, RoboCop has been off for, lets say, 5 years, and was RoboCop even before that. That means that IF that photo was taken even as late as the day of his death, (here prior to 2015) or even after, while he was RoboCop, his son was, let's even say, for the case or argument, ten or so in 2015. Well, add to that the five years while RoboCop was off-line, and the extra ten years as shown at the beginning of EVERY episode in the opening-credits (2030). Then you have a kid that would be about 30, minimum, yet later in the series, his son and wife seem to have retained the ''Forever Young'' syndrome... ah well, that's the movies. And I am NOT complaining. ***he even has the same shirt! :)*** Then there's Matt Miner, Agent Miner's son... Nevermind... :)
TECHNICAL NOTES:
Nothing here ''technically'' impossible besides the obvious.. but then... :)
VISUAL NOTES:
