I made this baby afghan for a friend's first grandchild. It is made with Bernat Cherish Sparkle yarn in Peony Print, and white. The pattern came from a yarn label from the same yarn. |

Here's a swatch of the afghan I made for my little nephew. This is Rock-a-bye Rainsong from Leisure Arts' "Our Best Baby Afghans." (LA2853, 1996) This is a big softcover book, well worth picking up if you ever happen upon it. I used Simply Soft yarn and it really is nice and cuddly! |

This is the "Around the World" afghan. It's a very simple pattern, but I'm still proud of it, since it was the very first afghan I ever made! I taught myself to crochet using this pattern. This pattern came as part of a kit available from Mary Maxim. I don't believe they sell this one anymore, but they do have other kits using the same square worked in different colors and placed in a different pattern. Mikey always has to be included in the pictures... |

This is a rug I made from Leisure Arts book #2608 "Throw Rugs to Crochet." The rug is actually a little messed up in this picture. As you can see the lovely Ashley (and all the rest of the critters) seem to think this was made for them and take turns playing on it. It really is a semi-circle, honest! This was made using 4 strands of worsted weight yarn and a Q hook, so it goes really fast! I used Dawn Sayelle yarn in soft navy and for contrast I used 2 strands of aran and 2 stands of honey tan. |

This is an afghan I made using the Evening Afghan pattern at the Crochet Musings site. Mine is a bit of an adaption, since I used one strand of Lion Homespun yarn in Tudor and one strand of Red Heart Classic in Aran. I used a P hook. This was a Christmas 1998 gift for my mom. |
