How are you doing with your bike? My son also had a
craniopharyngioma that made hime lose most of the vision
in his right eye and the peripheral vision in the left. I know
that he will never be able to drive a car, but I'm also kind of
afraid to let him loose on a bike! Do you have problems riding
in traffic with your vision loss? Have you had any help learning
to cope with loss of vision, like some kind of training? By the way,
I love your page! I especially like the "crinkled paper" background
in the geustbook. It makes it look well-used, which I'm sure it is.

I had a pituitary tumor removed in 1987.
It was followed by 28 radiation treatments.
I am doing well with supplements for thyroid
and testosterone.

Hi Duggan!
I am also a member of PTNA, and my son Michael
also had a Craniopharyngioma. He had surgery in July
of 96 at the University of Florida, and so far, so good,
thank God! This past weekend I attended 'The Pituitary
Awareness Day' at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and
it was wonderful ! While I was there I met Michel White
who was really excited when I mentioned having spoken to
your Dad, she was so nice to make me a copy of some of the
titles from your WebPage. Your Dad sent me the Webpage
Address, and I finally got to read your Page and enjoyed it so
much. I hope you are enjoying Lewis & Clark University. I'd
like you to know that all the rest of us out there who have
had our lives forever changed by a craniopharyngioma find a lot of
inspiration and comfort in your story and all the work and efforts
by you and your family for the PTNA.

I was cheating and peaking in the teen message board at PTNA and
saw your note -- you just seemed so friendly and outgoing I wanted
to say to keep up the good work. (OK, so 25 doesn't classify me as
a teen, but I am in heart, and I've got a prolactinoma, so I had probable
