COVENANT OF THE WARRIORS

OF THE RAINBOW

The Rainbow Tribe is all peoples of this world, all brothers and
sisters of the Great Universal Family. It is a tribe not of
blood but of the spirit. There is no need to join this tribe,
for all are born into it, as all are children of the One Father
and the One Mother. But many of the children do not yet know
their family, do not yet know it is our Mother the Earth who is
sick, that it is we her children who are responsible, that we all
need each other, for the issue is now survival, and the task of
preserving life on this planet depends nothing less than
planetary cooperation.

Within the Rainbow Tribe of All Tribes, therefore, there has
been created a Society to spread this consciousness, The Society
of the Warriors of the Rainbow, to exemplify the highest ideals
of mind, heart and spirit, to work together and more
efficiently bring about a healthy high existence upon this
planet as ordained by the Great Creative and Healing Spirit of
the Universe.

The Warriors of the Rainbow recognize the true enemies to be
Ignorance and Fear, that the only weapons needed to conquer
these foes are Truth and Courage, that in the battle women must
take their place as equal warriors beside their brothers, and
that the fruits of victory are Wisdom and Joy. The other names
of Joy and Wisdom are Love and Understanding, and these are the
two medicines by which the Rainbow Warriors seek to heal the land
and her people, and with these medicines men must take their
place as equal healers beside their sisters.

The thoughts and deeds of the Rainbow Warriors shall at all
times issue from the highest feelings of Reverence and Respect.
A Warrior must revere and respect the Universal Spirit, the
Great Holy Mystery that is in all things and beyond all things.
