Ingwar: The ancient Gemanic tribes worshiped the
God called "Ing", who was the son of
MANUS, the supreme God of Germanic mythology. Ingwar
is also an old Nordic name, for they
worshiped the same God, "Ing." In the hatch of history, when
the Norman's reigned the tundra's of
Russia, the Scandinavic name was accepted and changed by
Russian's into Igor...
Thus it became a Slavic name as well...
