About Czar baby...
"I have always had more than one dog at a time and Sandy was Czar's friend and mine. Czar came to us at 8 mo. when a neighbor got him at 4 mo. and then ignored him and mistreated him. He came and played with Sandy when he was a puppy as you can see here. He was left in the yard alone and I bonded to him at the gate, talking and loving him up whenever I left the house or car. I took him good food, kept his water fresh, got his shots, collar, a tag (w/my name), Nylabones, balls, straw and blankets for his bed outside, as he was not allowed inside. He did not stop and pet or talk to him and I KNEW he would not keep him, so told him if he decided not to that I wanted him badly. One late afternoon I took his food over and he was gone -- taken to the Humane Society 1/2 mi. away! I phoned and had to wait til next day to pick him up at 8AM - the longest nite for me and the sadest for him, not knowing I was coming for him. He was so HAPPY to see me and we went for a bath at once and he was neutered the next week. We three lived happily ever since except when Sandy went over the Bridge. He knows I love him so much, he gets kisses and hugs all the time, the best care, food, toys and is never alone, my Velcro baby! It was love at first sight with him too.
