Our names are Piglet & Tigger. We have been with Mommy & Daddy for 1 year and a few months. We love to chirp alot and we don't talk yet. We are still trying to get use to Mom and Dad. We fly on them sometimes when they are sitting still at the computer. We like Misty alot. We like to scare her by sitting on her cage which is close to ours. Recently, Mommy and Daddy had to seperate us because we fight sometimes. Mommy says she doesn't want us to get hurt. We miss being together. Our cages are next to each other but it isn't the same. We do get to come out and spend time together. We look forward to that.

Well it has been a while since Mommy wrote anything for us. She decided to write today. Mommy says Tigger or Tiggy as she calls him is very, very shy. He hasn't grown out of his shyness. Mommy says he is the runt of the litter cause he is so tiny for a parakeet. He eats a lot and I am jealous at times and want his seed dish! Mommy says I have become a brat lately...that's me Piglet...I don't mean to be a brat I am just trying to be friendly. When Mommy or Daddy stick their hand in my cage I like to nibble on them. I think it is fun to watch them be surprised! I just think it is funny! I am all done laying my eggs now. Mommy counted 92 and I had no babies! They are glad I am not laying eggs any more and so am I. It get's boring laying on the eggs all day and night! I like to see what is going in the house! This coming August we will be 4 years old, my how time flies like we do!
Yesterday was a very sad day. My sweet little parakeet Piglet died, she was 8-9 years old. I was at work and my son called me and he was freaked out. My husband had went to the store. My son was talking to the birds and found Piglet on the bottom of her cage. I cried, I just cried. I still have her buddie Tigger, who is the same age. Piglet was a Pale faced Harlaquin. I have only seen 2 other birds like her in my life time. She had beautiful pale brown markings on her feathers. She had a pale yellow face and a light sky blue color on her body with other shades of color here and there. If you look close you can see all the pretty colors she had. I paid $9.00 for both birds from a friend. They were more wild and not hand tamed. No matter, we loved them just the same. Piglet layed around 110 eggs in her life time. One egg broke inside her and we thought she wasn't going to survive the ordeal. Amazing that she did survive and layed more eggs after. Tigger right now is so lonely without her bud. She wants out to spend time with Punkin and Misty. I can't allow this though because both birds are rather vicious towards her. Tonight we buried Piglet. I buried her where I also buried my 2 gerbils a long time ago. Today is My husband and I's 12th Anniversary. My husband bought me a dozen roses and I placed one in Piglet's resting place.
