Some of my famous stories
When momma first brought me home, there was already this huge dog living here, whose name was Felix. That's right, the very same Felix who's webpage is also on this site. When she brought me home, I didn't cry like some dogs did on the ride home (HINT: the crying dog's name began with an "F" and ended with an "x"). Anyway, I was very brave and only tried to sit in momma's lap. After all, I was only nine weeks old! She brought me home and took me to her backyard. Then she brought Felix out of the house. In all my born days, I had never seen a dog that big! I decided to play it smart and act like I was afraid of it, so it wouldn't hurt my momma in any way. He came over to where I was and put his head down next to me! He was showing that he wanted to be friends! My momma said that we were even related, Felix had been born about a year before me, and we had the same doggie mom.
After Felix showed that he wanted to be friends, that's exactly what we were. We used to play fight with each other and we became inseperable. Felix even used to protect me from Dr. K and his pokes! Felix would groom me even - momma said it was sooo cute.
When I was little, momma got me a playpen to live in. She got this real baby's playpen and bought me some toys and that's where I stayed.
Momma's brother, Uncle John, used to live with us. He called me "Grrrr-dog" and I liked that. He used to put Felix and me into his Rail Buggy, and we would pull him on his skate board down the street. Momma's cousin (they used to call him Petey-boy) was also a visitor. I was afraid of Petey-boy, cuz he used to move too fast. I even recognized his car when ever he drove into the driveway, and I would go hide!
Felix and I were scared of thunderstorms. Well, Felix started it, and when I saw that momma would pet him and talk to him during these things, I got afraid too so she would do the same to me. I mean, fair's fair, right? Now, whenever there's a lot of storms, I go to momma and act scared.
We used to hide under Uncle John's bed. That was the most fun. Uncle John would be sleeping, and Felix and I would get under his bed. What was even MORE fun, tho, was getting into his bed. Then, he would play with us. And play and play and play.
Felix and I used to do all sorts of things together. We were always play fighting with each other - that was the most fun - we would go for walks together, and people always would stop and admire us. Felix told me about going to the Flea Market and getting an Elephant Ear. I don't know why anyone would want to go to a place to buy fleas, I can get them for free, but there you go. Momma took us to see Dr. K together, and we both had to have something called a "muzzle" put on us, cuz he used to always poke us, no matter how much Felix would tell him not to.
Eventually, things changed. Felix and I got older, and Sara too. Please click on the "Next" button to go read about being at the Rainbow Bridge.
