This pedigree was specifically structured to increase the odds of bringing my strong female line from the past into the present. The only X chromosome that can be passed by the sire is the one he received from his dam, and in this case, my Lynne's Sweet Talk. It is possible that these girls will have received a triple dose of the X chromosome material handed down by my key bitch line. Since the X chromosome is longer than the Y, it carries most of the genetic information. That is why it is tantamount to utilize only the very best females in your breeding program. My girls have always proven to be very dominant in breed type and soundness and no matter what they are bred to, they have produced good breed type, great temperaments and correct structure, and in many cases, the quality and soundness of their get has been much better and more consistent than the outcrossed sires they were bred to.
Think and claim whatever you want to -- bottom line --
"NO STABLE IS BETTER THAN ITS MARES" - period. NOTHING IS AS IMPORTANT TO THE BREEDING PROGRAM AS THE SELECTION OF THE BROOD BITCH.
A study in a dominant tail female line (as an example):
From great-granddam, Ch. Regalaire's Marvelous Chip
To granddam, Lynne's Regalaire Daisy Chip
To granddaughter, Lynne's Tri To Please, and whose littermates were also clones of either their dam, my Lynne's Sweet Alyssum, or Ch. Regalaire's Marvelous Chip's dam, a black tri.
