Duke Billy and RT Habu

It came to pass, in the fullness of time, that the mantle of kingship  passed onto "Good King Jack".  King Jack knew that his knights, in their fight against the forces of darkness, needed strong leadership. He searched among his subjects but, could find none of noble birth, worthy to lead his knights in the northern realms of the kingdom.  Being a king of action, he did not despair but, decided to elevate a brave and true commoner, to noble status.

King Jack called out to the kingdom of Bragg and bade them to send forth SGM Billy, for he was a worthy champion.

SGM Billy responded to the clarion call and reported to his king whereupon, he was ennobled and titled "Duke of the Good Deal".  Billy was then charged by the king, "Go forth, into my most northern realm and lead my knights against the forces of darkness, that are assembled against them."

Billy thereupon journeyed to the city of Danang and there he made his castle amidst the company of Recon, in the province of CCN.

After much training, Duke Billy determined that he would accompany two of the knights, Sir Jimmy and Sir Lemuel, on one of their forays into the wilderness.  These knights were indeed brave and they carried as their standard, a coiled Asian serpent, or  Habu, as the ancient tongue referred to it.

The team of knights trained hard for this difficult mission and devoted much time to the planning and equipping of the assemblage.  After lengthy briefings and discussions, they boarded a mighty UH1D that was to convey them on their quest. The mighty machine belched forth smoke and flame and shuddered greatly as its blades beat the very air into submission. Then, struggling against the forces of gravity, the mighty beast leapt skyward and left the earth beneath it.

After a time, the UH1D settled in a clearing amongst the verdant mountains in the nether reaches of Laos.  The benighted entourage, disgorged from the belly of the beast and they thanked it for its goodly service as they moved into the jungle cloak of the humid forest.

Knowing that the beast's arrival might attract the attentions of the evil dwellers of this plane, the knights moved hurriedly and silently to a place of security. Because they numbered but eight and were arrayed against many, they traveled far from the point of disgorgement until, at last, they were exhausted and perspired greatly in the thick humid air.

Suddenly, the lead vassal signaled to Sir Jimmy.  Duke Billy knew naught what this signal meant and was sorely puzzled.  Sir Jimmy and the assemblage moved with practiced precision and assumed a new formation.  With efficient movements they unlimbered their claymore mines and placed these holy instruments in a pentagram of defense against all evil.

Duke Billy was alarmed. He knew naught what the lead vassal had signaled to Sir Jimmy.

Sir Jimmy unshouldered his weighty pack, set it upon the ground, opened the pack and withdrew several cylinders.  He passed these cylinders to all near him and motioned for the duke to come forward.  Sir Jimmy smiled as he passed one of the cylinders to the duke, broke the seal on the top of his cylinder and quaffed mightily of the amber liquid contained therein.  Leaning close to Duke Billy, Jimmy whispered,  "This is a beer break!"
