SMOKEY'S SOAPBOX

INTRODUCTION




I have always felt that a person should stand up for what
they believed in. No matter what the cost would be. No
greater tribute to a person can be given than to be able to say that they stood up for what they believed.

I have lived to see many heros that have influenced my life.
Those heros are the ones that would stand and say what they
thought, even when there were those that opposed them. I suppose the biggest man that I ever knew, set the example
for me to follow. I have heard him speak the truth when I
honestly believe that he was the only one that wanted to
hear the truth. That man was my dad.

I have wept when I would see how our elected officials would
sell us out because they would not stand up for what they
believed. Where money would influence them to vote the wrong
way.

As a veteran, it kills my soul to see our country and the
office of the President degraded as it has been in the past
few years. Our veterans have fought and many died to save
this great country of ours. Then for them to watch as it is
being torn down from within, it is almost more that we can
can bear.

As a Christian, I will stand before all and proclaim that
Jesus is my savior. We have allowed our elected officials,
judges and our supreme court to take God out of our country.
Free speach is the only thing that may bring him back.

The First Amendment to our constitution gives me the right
to speak my will. Therefore, I stand before you on my Soapbox to testify to you about matters in which I believe.
