No sheet's or pillow case's in the Vietnam War-- The Blacklion's were what some may call; the Armys Core-- They roughed it up like the Marine Corp of old-- And every Blacklion soldier carried their load.

No colored TV in 1965-1966 to watch a show-- The Blacklion's in-country were always on the go-- They shaved and cooked in their steel pots they wore-- Thats why they were called one of the Armys best core.

No easy task of surviving the night or the day-- The Blacklion's rarely ever let the Viet Cong have their way-- They honored each other with a poundcake and a nutty Payday-- And even a French coca cola on a hot day taste O'Kay.

No regular bed or barracks to rest and to sleep-- The Blacklion's never had a chance at night to count sheep-- Their win/lost record for a infantry line company was low-- When it came to fighting, The Blacklion's gave the Viet Cong a show.
