This is Mr. Bob Carroll, who currently lives outside of Chicago. The photo is from the quarantine picture on my Switzerland page. Mr. Carroll, a pilot based at Seething as part of the 714th Squadron of the 448th Bomb Group, was shot down on the same day as my grandfather, and they became good friends.
