What are Winamp skins?
Winamp skins are an alternative graphical interface for your
Winamp player. They don't change the functionality of Winamp,
just the look. All skins on this site can be downloaded and used
for free.
How do I install a Winamp skin?
Simply save the skin in your 'winamp\skins' directory which
usually would be something like 'C:\Program Files\winamp\skins'.
If you are using an older Version of Winamp (v2.03 and lower) you
will have to unzip the skin into your 'winamp\skins' directory,
for example through using winzip. After unzipping, the skin
should reside in its own subdirectory.
How do I select a skin in Winamp?
When Winamp is running simply press 'Alt+s' and a pop-pup window
will appear, where you can select any skin that you have
installed. Press OK to accept the skin that you selected.
I can't select any skins with my Winamp, why?
Only Winamp versions 1.8 and up support skins! You probably have
an older version. Simply fix the problem by downloading the newest version of Winamp.
How do I make my own skin?
Take a look at Winamp's tutorial, which gives detailed
information on how to create your own skin.
