It will be six years in Aug. that we lost our angel,Missy. Missy had an AVM which is similar to an aneurysm. She died nine days before her 11th birthday. We miss her so very much. She has two brothers,Chris and Brad who are now 19 and 18. This has been ha d on them as she was with them when she went into a coma and had like seizures. I imagine they picture this awful sight often. I cry because I miss Missy so much. But I also cry for the pain they go through. Missy was declared brain dead within 29 hrs.of her headache. We donated her organs and this has been a big help. A decision never regreted. She gave so much to all of us in life and continues in her death. Your poems and pictures are really neat. It helps me. I relate to Missy through pictures and poems. I want to find more poems about deceased daughters,could you help? I would also like pictures. At a local rennessaince festival there is a man who does sand blasting on glass. He has never done an angel and would like to, but can't find the right picture. If you would ever run across something like that I would love it. I want to find one that is very soft looking, feminine, long hair,very peaceful looking. Here is a poem I wrote shortly after Missy died. I know she helped me because I wrote it in @20min. There was a lonely star in the sky and someone told me that if you ever saw a star in the sky all alone, ti was your loved one watching over you. That's hen this poem came to me. You Are With Me Now Missy above the sky,I sometimes ask why. I miss you so much,just to feel your touch. To see that smile, just for awhile. I want to see your face,the beauty the grace. Those eyes of blue, they sparkle too. To hold your hand, would be so grand. I loved your laugh,it would soar any graph. You gave so much, they remember you as such. Either young or old,they felt you were as precious as gold. The cards, the letters, wishing things were better. I wish you could sit on the arm of my chair, and you could lean on me with your golden hair. You would put your cheek against mine, you showed love to me all of the time. You would've been eleven,but now you're in heaven. Just nine more days, it's just a haze. Now you are gone, until the new dawn. God has you now. I pray somehow, we'll all be together one day,up in Heaven with God if you may. I miss you so much,just to feel your touch. Yet I feel somehow you are with me now. I have truly enjoyed your site, along with some of the other links I have visited. I was touched by your story of your son's problems. I hope that this note finds him in perfect health! I too have a similar story. My son had tuberculosis of the brain, and had several brain surgeries. His life was not in the doctor's hands. In fact they had given me no hope of my son surviving. When I had come to terms with his illness, and had prepared myself as well as possible, an angel that myself, and my husband both s w, kissed my son on the top of his head where the tubes ran out, and my son opened his eyes. The road back was terribly hard, he was paralyzed, blind, deaf and atrophied. With his angel watching endlessly, my son struggled back to me. Today, he is blessed y well! He walks, talks, hears, and even drives a car! Praise God for His Blessings! I search for comfort in stories like your son's. It helps to know that I am not alone in the world, and that someone believes in the truth of angels! Please keep the fait going, and your web site. It is truly a comfort to experience, and to recommend to others who may be looking for the same comfort!
