OK so I thought that I'd never ever see this movie posted on this page, but it just goes to show that anything is possible with the Internet. Now I've heard about this flick, and its reputation, and it took me a whole lotta time to track it down and even longer to find a totally UNCUT version. But the TOO COOL dudes at MIDNIGHT VIDEO hooked me up and now I'm the proud owner!!!!
So here it is, this weeks movie, WALLERIAN BOROWCZYK' s 'LA BETE' or in English 'THE BEAST'.
First of all, this flick is definately not for everyone. The copy I got is mostly in french with some English and Scandanavian Subtitles, you can not get uncut versions in full english or english subtitled. My French is pretty bad but I still followed the story (I think). This English heiress comes to an estate to marry this strange French dude. (pre-arranged I guess). She sees some horses being mated and takes some polariods to mastrabate with later. As she explores the estate she sees a painting of a woman and lotsa subtle references to bestiality. While in bed sleeping and of course rubbing the ole honeypot, she dreams of this woman in the painting be chased and raped(?) by a large wolf/bear like beast with a tool like a baseball bat. In the end she learns the shocking family secret.This movie is pretty graphic and leaves little to the imagination. There is some gore with a little lamb getting ripped apart and lotsa sex of all manner (and I do mean all) and description. It has to be seen to be believed....
