MILLENNIUM WEB LINKS

[With just some casual searches across the web, I found such
a wealth of sites devoted to the MILLENNIUM. Here is a cornucopia of approaches,
some scientific, some religious, some skeptical, some hedonistic, some heavy,
some light. Some are interactive. State your own views!

I will add more links as I come across them. I can now
concentrate mainly on adding books and media materials
to Maison Max BOOKS & MUSIC. . . no sense in doing over what others
on the web have done so very well already.]

WORLD RELIGIONS: LAST THINGS

[Anyone interested in seeing what all the major and some minor religions
believe about eschatology (final things, end of the world) should perhaps first
consult a good reference room in a library. For starters, read the entries on such
topics as "Ages of the World," "Apocalypse," "Eschatology," "Cosmology"---
any topic you can think of that might shed light on the Big Picture in all
religions.
I suspect that many readers will be astounded by the connections among
religions, both primitive and cultured, when it comes to the great topics.
Start with reference works such as James Hastings' ENCYCLOPEDIA OF
RELIGION & ETHICS, the Anchor BIBLE DICTIONARY, and the like.
If you're pressed for time (some entries are long and involved), read up on the
topics in any good general encyclopedia. On these topics the lastest edition is
not necessarily always the best and most comprehensive.
Most serious students will want to get into primary sources. I will be adding
helpful items and links to this page from time to time. MAX]
