Here lies some more of my poetry. These the words everyone shares, just my heart saw fit to arrange them in this way. Hope you enjoy reading them. Pashy :o)
The sun was shining brightly The birds chirped gaily As the couple began their day happily. Together, they were perfect, All the world was right. How could they have known what would happen that night
The calm before the storm;
How Could they assume, how could they expect
The lightening, the thunder, the rain?
When all the sky seemed clear,
When all the world was so silent
Floating on their sea of happiness
had been just the calm before the
Hurricane of danger.
His eyes glazed over, her whimpered cries ignored. As the blows crashed down upon her, she closed her eyes for the final time and drifted back to another time, a time of love and joy, The time of
The calm before the storm;
How Could they assume, how could they expect
The lightening, the thunder, the rain?
When all the sky seemed clear,
When all the world was so silent
Floating on their sea of happiness
had been just the calm before the
Hurricane of danger
As her crumpled body was carried on a stretcher and his hands was cuffed behind him; strange emotions flooded his body. When they lowered her casket into the dark pit that awaited it, he trembled, shifting in the cuffs and the public's hard gaze, wishing with all his might he could return to
The calm before the storm;
How Could they assume, how could they expect
The lightening, the thunder, the rain?
When all the sky seemed clear,
When all the world was so silent
Floating on their sea of happiness
had been just the calm before the
Hurricane of danger. Back to Top
Hate is a cruel murderess
A tempter with her ease
A vixen in black
She sneaks her attacks
Slipping in unnoticed
During the cold night
Attacking her chilly fingers
Around the innocent heart
Freezing the love, the warmth
so solid, not even day
With its bright dress
Can thaw the tundra
Responsible for death, for pain
But when one looks for a reason
The true cause is oft obscured
For no one can see what
Truly they themselves do asleep.

I never felt so alone
as I do when surrounded
by a multitude
Having to stifle my natural emotions;
My opinions-
Walking on eggshells
Around the issues so as to
Not offend one of the
Many sensitive
people amidst the crowd.
Listening to their
annoying voices
Chatter on about
Cleaning house
or Silly details,
Watching them be
careful not to say or show
how they truly feel inside
Crying out silently
To them to stop
Slowly killing themselves
Warning them to quit
Shoving away
Natural convictions That exist
within every breathing soul
Only to have the crowd
turn upon me
Feeling misunderstood
I never felt so alone
as I do when surrounded
By a multitude

I lie awake
Tortured by your cries
"Help me" you plead
From the realm of my dreams
And rip into my heart
But what can I do?
How can I save you
From the cruel death
That awaits you?
With those who
Condemned you
I've pleaded so long;
I've tried to show
Them where they are wrong.
No one listens and now
I stay up
Night and day
To find a way you to save.
Hoping somehow your
Dignity, your innocence to
Return, Attempting to
Find the way to overturn
The judgment of our society-
To prove to them you
Too are human
More so than those
Who judge you guilty
Because you think differently
You use your own mind
To create your own thoughts
Sincere and innocent in all you
Do. Upstanding and fair
in all your decisions, even
As you try to correct the wrongs
Make the injustices right.
It seems so unfair that you
Were caught within
The web of injustice
Because of your search for justice.
As your vitality fades slowly
Ebbing out your life
As they wrongfully
Ignorantly end your life-
So quickly I can't stop them-
I make a promise to you
I will never forget and
That your search, your memory
In all that is just
Will remain forever alive.

An ornamented case
Decorated with vain
Decorations and intrinsic
Engravings outside
Holds within various jewels;
A bloody Ruby,
Grass stained Emerald
Sparkling diamonds
Shimmer in the light.
Tiny stones hide
Within, like the
Ebony onyx,
Which slowly erodes
Away the valuable
Wanted gems
And when discovered
Is oft tossed aside
Allowing others to see
The stone not wanted
But the coveted
The cherished and cared for
The well loved stones
Locked within the box
Protected by the layers
Of excessive decoration
Remains out of sight.
Clandestine from all
In fear that the
Ruby would be
Actually discovered
And the owner,
The decorator would
Have to share
What he had worked
So hard on hiding
in fear of being hurt.
Afraid the secret diamond within
Would be found,
And no more
Would anyone look
At him with unprejudiced Eyes.
Instead their glances would be
Full of need and greed.
So as he gathered more precious gems
More and more dark,
Sable ugly stones were tossed out
For all to see and judge him for.

Verdant sticks
Shoot up from
The bed of
My ancestors
Fertilized by deaths
Covering the barren ground;
Not too long before
Hungry jaws carelessly
Snatch up the
Patch of grass
Chewing and chomping
Eating part of
My forefathers
Until they are
Loaded up and
A butcher slaughters
And slices them
For me to eat.
But it won't be long,
I realize
Until soon they will
Be eating me.

As I sit to write to you
I realize that I have been
Living from day to day
On words of your letters
Dreading the day when
The words No Reply
Will inevitably fill the air.
Separated by miles,
Our hearts still
Have found a way to
Communicate with each other.
And we write long letters Everyday wishing we could be
Holding the hand that is responsible
For the words in ink that
Decorate the otherwise barren page.
Wishing we could be together
Through more than just letters. Back to Top
Locked away in this vault
Separated from light
From the sun, the wind, the moon
The stars,
I clasp in my hand
Your frozen image
And a warmth fills me
Chasing of the winter of
Solitude nipping at my heels. Back to Top
Please stay beside me
Don't leave me alone.
The fear I'm facing
Is beginning to grow.
Each time I step out
My life is threatened
Every time I leave
Death sneaks closer to me. Back to Top
I keep knocking on the door
Louder and louder, More and more
Listen closely for footprints on the floor
Sounds like nobody's home
Why do I feel so alone- In this world
Your lips are moving,
Supposed to be listening
But no words are coming out
Beginning to raise doubt about
My place- In this world
Am I alone in this world?
Where is my place in this world
How'd I wind up being no one's girl In this world?
Why does no one care in this world?
Eating frozen food again, Tried to call you,
But I don't know where to begin Now I'm through
With this world
Walking through the locking door
Can't go back no more
My body stiffens for
Now I'm leaving This world
You think you can control my every move
Got me stuck hiding in this tomb
Nothing worse than being with you
In your world
Sick of hearing you speak; tired of being meek
I'm breaking free From your world.
Not going to be your girl anymore In this world.
Not taking anything from this world.
Making all the hate stay in this world.
Can't erase all the bad from this world.
I've met someone in this world
Who's helped me build my world
I'm going to be forever his girl in my world.
Because you told me I'd always lose
His sincerest love I had almost refused
But I didn't allow you to me confuse
Now I'm leaving you in your world
You're left knocking on the door
You're left listening to the floor
You're left being alone
In this world,
In your world.

Eagerness shining brightly
Viewing all in sweet virgin light
Excited over every thing new
From the sunset to the morning dew
The majestic ascent of grand the mountain
To the intricate web of design in a tiny fish fin
The lush verdant forest floor
The tiny seeds within an apple core
All is clean, undefiled, beautiful, pure
Oblivious to evil, these simple eyes hold the cure
To the hatred, prejudices, the unjust
Oh the virgin eyes free from smog and dust
Never lose your enthusiasm or your gleam
Forever beautiful, young and sweet. Never allow
Yourself deflowered to be Never to society bow
For it will your innocence steal, and rob the Earth
Of it's magnificence and you of your youth Back to Top
Whenever I think of you
I long to hold your hand
When I'm there beside you
We travel to the different lands
But I wonder if its enough
To prove to you my love is true
To stay with e, you must be tough
To help me overcome my fear of losing you
I picture a sad life
When I see myself without you
Plunge into my heart a knife
If I can't be beside you Back to Top
I hear you words dancing in the air
Tickling my ears with their tenderness
Tried to tell you I'm not listening, I don't care
Tried to warn you, your sweet lies
Aren't going to save you , they can't help you
But as always you ignored me so I turned to walk away
Tired of being treated the way you always do
Still, I couldn't help but hear you say:
"Baby, baby, you're so giving
I know I've taken so much from you
Honey, honey Please don't leave me
I love you more than you can see
Darling, darling, I can't tell you
How much you mean to me
So baby, baby now I'm begging
Please shut the door, Come back to me
I turn around, with only one thing to say
I've become immune to your syrupy words
I'm tired of being the little pawn you play
I can't stay with you like I could before Back to Top
I watch the sunset set behind the trees The colors dancing excitedly across the sky
Wishing you could be there to share it with me
Together, hand in hand, on our sweet love we could fly
I can't stand the distance and being apart
Though, I know we will be together soon
You're pressed eternally upon my heart
And it seems like we as far as the earth from moon
It is me that prevents divine happiness
For us, as a couple, and for myself
I don't know why I can't progress
Have myself convinced I don't need any help
My love for you is true, and strong
I want so badly to be with you
But I can't overcome the fear that I'm wrong. Back to Top
Sleeping complacently in the
Blissful night of Innocence
The purity of a Heart, White and Clean
Boldly stands out like the crown of a king
Against the ebony backdrop of ignorance
Like a Star, shining brightly
In the cool calm night.
Too young to appreciate the
Joyful rest night provides
All to soon will the sun arise
The dawning of knowledge will arrive
Blinding rays of light that cloak
Nothing, not even the smallest errors
Can be hidden as the light transmits
Tiny deflowering truths
Smudging out the hearts star
Infiltrating the innocent mind
Unleashing worries to burden down
The once free soul, Unlocking the
Furried, frenzied waters of the dam
Of Knowledge, of Awareness
Plagued by the warmth of noon's sun
Not a shadow nor shade exists
Of the previous, the blissful
State of innocence
Nor shall it return
Until . . .
Eternal night forever reigns
Upon the guilt ridden mind Back to Top
There you are, acting all holy
Judging me before you get to know me
You say I'm condemned to hell;
I'd like to know how you can tell.
According to your beliefs
Only God can cause that grief.
Because you deem me, see me different;
You think you can call me a misfit.
I may not Share all you declare
To be your creed; I still share
With you a common race-
I'm human, look me in the face;
You claim to live by a long list of rules;
But those you believe you, are only fools.
Every creed you say you take
I've often seen you privately break.
The code by which I live my life
Way shorter than yours, with less hype;
I follow more than you,
To my own rules I am true.
So you assert to be all chaste
Shouldn't make such claims in haste.
Your own God says do not judge
From His standards do not budge,
Every day, while you put on a pious face
Your hidden sins leave a dark dark trace,
While you point the finger at me
You still aren't all you pretend to be
Put your prejudiced opinions away
Only the Seated One has a say
On Judgment Day. Back to Top
The rain of Time
Slowly falls-
Dripping, Dripping, Dripping
Down.
Tumbling, plunging down the shiny iron
If a glorous Youthful Dream that is
New, strong excited and pure.
Cruelly time's water strips
The Excitement, the Youth.
Corroding, Corrupting the Purity.
Erasing the durable lustrous silver.
Into a ruddy red Rust
Chipping away at the Hope
Puddling and rusting all chance
For the dream to exist
Thus, ruinded is the dream's reality
Under Time's constant rain
Drip, Drip, Drip . . . Back to Top
Beauty
Beauty creates
the Worst Hyprocisy.
A ornate shell is She
Encasing an emptiness
Where only dust
Seems to settle
As the wind blows through.
All rush to choose Her
For her splendor
For her glory,
Yet none cherish Her,
Pride Her through her years
As her decorative shell
Is chipped, broken, and torn.
None choose her to invest
Their precious gems.
The homely one, though,
Humble, quiet, and shy,
Holds bright jewels of her own
Sparkling within, along with
Those valuables of others.
Intellect, kindness, and meekness
Always a helping hand,
she loans out space in her shell
To hide another's secrets freely.
Her qualities, never dirtied,
Never Soiled by Age
Always remain cherished,
Loved until the end of Time. Back to Top
