All about the Pixie!
Well here is the section of my idyll dedicated to myself... This is purely to feed my own ego, as nobody else around this place does, and I've always been told to get it any way you can! So what do you need to know about me? I guess I'll give you a basic intro to the Pixie.
My name is Pixie, and I was born in October 1976, which makes me one of those wonderfully balanced individuals that most Librans are!! I have lived in NSW, Australia all my life, apart from a two year stint in Canberra (of all the places to go!!!), and I missed the coast so much I had no choice but to come back home - I love being able to live on the Australian coast and I hope to be in this region of the world for a long time to come (although Jamaica looks pretty good as well!)
I not long ago completed my Bachelor of Arts (majoring in English Literature and Philosophy), at the University of Newcastle (Central Coast Campus) which I think was one of the best places in the country to be studying...I'm a bit of a computer nerd, and generally like working with computers, they don't answer back and they generally help me to do whatever I want to do - and lets face it, without a computer I wouldn't have this lovely little page now, would I? But I think I am talking a bit too much about computers, so I'll bore you with a bit more about me...
I started out at the Australian Defence Force Academy in Canberra a few years back, but decided that the Military was no place for a Pixie to be and I bailed out, became a civillian and chose to pursue my academic career in a more relaxed environment - so here I am less than 12 months after graduation, working in publishing (did I mention I'm a bit of a bookworm too?), happily engaged - enjoying life as much as I can and not regretting my departure from the Defence Forces one little bit (although I am glad to have been given the opportunity to participate for the period I was there - I would be a very different and not so confident person today if I had not been there). Besides, my sense of the wicked and love of being a bit unorthodox never really suited a life "married to the military" (and I've got plenty of willing character references to verify the fact!)
But anyway, I waffle again, and I can see you are looking a bit bored with me so check out the links, have a bit of a look around, and tell me what you think of it all.
