North Carolina: Western II (Smoked Pork) 1 cn Tomato sauce 2 1/2 ts Salt 2 c Water 1/4 ts Tabasco 1 ea 6oz tomato paste 2 tb Pepper 2 ea Dried chilis 1 ea Onion, finely chopped 1/2 c Ketchup 1 ea Clove garlic, minced 2 tb Worcestershire Sauce 2 ea Bay leaf 2 ts Chili powder 1/2 lb Butter 1 ea Juice of two lemons 2 ts Dry mustard 1/4 c Red wine vinegar Simmer all ingredients 30 minutes. Strain and cool. |
