 Ginger Baste for Pork

    2/3 c  Brown sugar                       1/4 c  Wine vinegar
      2 tb Cornstarch                        2/3 c  Soy sauce
      2 ts Freshly grated ginger root        1/4 ts MSG (Optional)
      2 ea Cloves garlic, crushed

  Combine ingedients thoroughly until sugar is dissolved.  Let stand for at
  least 1 hour to blend flavors before using.  Stir well before brushing on
  pork during cooking.
