Easy Pasta Delights
"also known as Foie Canelons"

2 full spoons olive or vegetable oil.

3 small foie-gras or paté cans (any kind will suit)

12 dried canelons (preferably pre-cooked ones)

1/4 onion cut into tiny bits

1/4 lt milk
-
1/4 kg flour
-
1/4 kg butter or margarine
-
Some salt
-
A good pinch of powered nutmeg

Powered cheese
NARRATIVE

Mix tomato sauce and pate cans content to get a hard
cream. Reserve.

Put canelons inside warm water to get them soft (20
min.). If they are not precooked, boil them in hot water
carefully.

Dry canelons with a hands towel or similar. Fill them
with the cream and roll them carefully. Reserve.

Put a big pan to soft fire with the onion bits and
butter. Put alternatively some milk and some flour mixing and beating well
and continuosly until it get a soft cream (bechamel sauce). Add some salt
and nutmag power as you like.

Now, grease a wide pot with butter, put the rolled
canelons inside one neside the other and drop carefully the bechamel sauce
all over them. Be sure to cover everything. Drop some powered cheese on
it.

Introduce the pot up in the oven and grill it for some
minutes until its surface starts darkening.
TIPS: Serve while still hot, preferably together with
some salad. You can also cook this recipe using crab meat, shrimps or any
kind of vegetable (spinachs is an excellent sugerence).
