Chase and I once again flew with Doc, this time we went to Oklahoma to go look at some Vettes that Doc had found. When we returned to the Bartleville airport to fly home I looked at one of the tires and realized that it was real low. We put air in it and as fast as we put it in it leaked out the valve stem. We took off and went to Tulsa to try and get it fixed. It was a Saturday and no mechanics were on duty! Can you believe that airplanes only break down Monday to Friday? Well, needless to say, you can see by the last two pics how we fixed the plane. Duct Tape really is 200 mph tape, when we landed and pulled in front of Docs hangar there wasn't a lick of air in the tire. Boy, did we get lucky! Chase had a great time anyways though.
