2nd Friends Bike's Page

This is a friend of mine, Jay who was in the process of selling his 97 Dyna Wide Glide which is pictured. Jay had a 113 ci S&S motor which I had done some work on and a Baker six speed tranny. He decided that he wanted to hang on to the motor and tranny (Jay and I are going to build a custom and we felt this combo would be a perfect beginning). I built a 80 ci Evo to replace the 113 and got a new tranny case to put back in the 5 speed. Did some head work along with the carb and put in a Crane Hi-4 ignition. First pic is of the bike with the motor and tranny removed. Second & third are the two motors with Jay on the bench. The 113 ci is on the left, notice how much more massive it is than the stock motor! Last pic is of the motor, tranny and carb on.

First, the motor & tranny again. Second, minus the primary case. Third, with carb and pipes on. Fourth, bike finally all done. Fifth, Jay with his bike for the last time. He sold the bike to a friend of ours named Gary who is quite happy with how the bike runs. Actually, I'm surprised as to how well the bike runs. The cam, carb and ignition were a perfect combination and the bike rolls out nicely!

This is one of my buddies I work with. He is based out of Milwaukee and is German, which you couldn't tell by his name, Helmut! I don't usually have non-Harley pics on the page but thought I would make an exception for him. Helmut, at least buy a BMW, it has two cylinders and is from the Fatherland! Not a bad VMAX, though these bikes do fly!

Now this is a much better picture of the kind of bike Helmut should be riding! Happens to be the "Bumble Bee" with Helmut aboard. No Helmut, it's not for sale!
