I would just like to say that whoever wrote the article about John Edwards is really a low person. John doesn't even have a computer or have access to one. If you are going to write something, write about yourself and leave other people alone. Also, the part about Larry Davis (Uncle Larry) that is also very low. I think that Joe Pat and Gwenda have done a good job. Sabine Raceway is close enought to home that you don't half to travel half the day to get there and half the night to get home. The pit admission is kind of high but hopfully it will get better. Ever thing improves in time and I think that if everyone will give it time it will get better. Also, if anyone has a problem, they ought to tell someone that can make a difference (Joe Pat or Gwenda) instead of crying to everyone that can't do anything about t anyway. All I can say is 1 5 cry baby station!

I run a 78 Camaro bomber here( hotstock,streetstock down your way) i never know what to call it but it's basically a Camaro with a 400sbc cast iron heads, 2 barrel rochesters only, 8 inch recap (daimond back) tires, so whatever you guys call that down your way. Hello Race Fans!!! This is a wonderful web site. I operate a Speedway as well in Minnesota. We have a 4/10th mile dirt oval. It is located in Montevideo, MN at the Chippewa County Fairgrounds. Montevideo is 50 miles east of the South Dakota border. I must admit though that my 1st love is to drive a race car. Unfortunately on the date of June 26, 1993 I was involved in a severe racing accident at the Arlington Raceway in Arlington MN. This accident left me with a broken neck and paralyzed. Ouch that hurt!!! I now am a quadriplegic with a spinal cord injury at the c4/c5 vertebra. In 1995 I took over Fiesta City Speedway. I along with my "Ex wife" have racing action every Friday night from mid May to mid September. Operating the Speedway has given me the opportunity to continue involvement in the sport I so dearl love. My racing experience was a short 3 years but I was very fortunate in capturing several goals during that time. I started racing in 1990. The class I started in and ended my driving career in was the I.M.C.A. Stock Car Division. I was awarded the 1992 I M.C.A. Stock Car Division National championship. During that summer I raced in 52 events...winning 22 of them. That was a whole lot of fun. I enjoy chatting with people in general so if you would like to e-mail me please do so. I have enjoyed racing at Sabine Raceway. It is nice to have a track within 15 minutes from my home. I'm sure there are some changes that can be made at Sabine, but you can't please everyone. I had the best finish of this season at Sabine Raceway in my 1978 Monte Carlo. Went to tech where only shocks were inspected. I was a bit disappointed when no more was checked. I love to race at Sabine Raceway and appreciate the fans who come out to watc me race.

Built a car 5 years ago to race at Webster Speedway by their rules in Minden La. A track was built here within 10 miles from home, from my understanding, using the same rules. Decided this was the place to go. What happened to the rules? The sets I've ad issued to me have been reduced to mere toilet paper. We've been going on 4 years now with the same car and instead of things getting better it's getting worse. The rules are always changing from one weekend to the next depending on who's toes are bein stepped on. You have full blown Super Stocks runnung in the Street Stock Class. Wake up and smell the gas. If the rules were concrete there would be more competitive racing in this class, instead of dominating cars that are not equal. This is supposed to be a family orinated recreation that has been turned into a big disappointment. WITHOUT DRIVERS THERE WOULD BE NO FANS OR A SABINE RACEWAY. Get the feeling I've had enough!
