Bill Jansen's 1937 Ford Club Coupe

This 1937 Ford Club Coupe was found upside down in the scrub near Captains Flat NSW.
It was available for free and so was dragged home with the front section of the roof                rusted away and caved in, but knowing where there was a 37 sedan with a good roof
section this problem was soon fixed, while this was being done it was decided to chop

the roof,  this was done with the help of Bruce Chapman who ran a  shop Called
Custom Panel & Paint,  with the major metal work done the car was finished of at Tech
college where I had enrolled in a hobby panel beating course. This rod was first put on
the road powered by a 1953 Flathead V8 which gave up after about 12 Months and
was replaced by a 283 cu in Chev V8. This Rod was driven for the next few years untill
my next rod a 1937 Ford Club Cabriolet was well under way.The Coupe was then sold
          to Mark Liddiard in 1987.
