Comments:
The RGV is a hooligan of a bike...in fact
I think this is the closes you can get your hands on other than the one
swantz rode. And wif cool graphic I've my mind set that Lucky Strike
and RGV should always go together.
I still find myself tempted to tweak here
and there. Nothing much to do on the outside, everything seems perfect,
only thing left for me was just had a new Lucky Strike paintwork and I
find em blends well *s*.
This is my 2nd RGV, first one was the M model
back in 91' and she departed when I crashed and last year I got myself
another RGV this time its the 95' S model.
The bike was cleverly tricked. The CDI changed,
bored both the carb, valve, head, and practically anything he could get
his hands on, the engine was also balance (killed all the fun) the puter
box altered and it won't auto cut above redline. I won't do this...nope
the box cost a fortune and so is the CDI but he was too kind to be a bit
considered still leaving me the headlights and both the side mirror.
I got the pipes changed (arrow) the stock had a major surgery on it...Good..but looks terrible. I've search like hell for the steering damper, I remember my previous one without it and suicide is the correct words when the front wheel decide to take off unintentionally (the RGV has this bad habit).
The bike is rock steady when you find yourself
in the twisty, the rear holds and so does the brakes..(Tokico makes such
awesome stopping power). I manage to pull mine to 240kph and thats
the max it'll go (unless I decide to plunge off a cliff). The best bike
I've rode so far, better than my M.
No complains...well nearly...cep' you get
a footache in the morning,
Having to kick start endlessly..*grrrrrr*
But who cares when you can out run a 600 between
lights....*w*
Thats the fun part.
