The Quesadartos started out as a team in the SCUDL (South Carolina Upstate Dart League) called the T-Hogs. Since we played out of a biker bar, all the teams had to have HOG in their name (DartHogs, T-Hogs, etc) We won first place in the C division our first season. We one second place in the B division one season. We won't talk about the two seasons in A division LOL.
Then the team joined the Dollar Darts league. We had to come up with a name. We were all sitting around brainstorming, and since we were playing out of a Mexican resturaunt, someone combined quesadilla with darts, and came up with Quesadarto. Well .......... it sounded like a good idea at the time .......... LOL
Then I thought that Quesadarto would be a cool login ID. Now I spend most of my time in chats explaining the name and saying "No, I do not speak Spanish" LOL
The Quesadartos won 1st four times and 2nd twice. Not bad for a bunch like us *smiles* But we all got busy with other stuff, and the team broke up after the fall '97 season. We played together a total of 10 seasons over 3 years, and will be friends forever.
