feb/march 99 issue of Scootering UK has an article (plus beautiful pics) of a '57 NSU Prima D. It's actually compared to a '58 Lambretta LDB 150 and a '57 french Lambretta LD125. The Prima comes out best, far superior, a bit slower but more luxerious than the other two. check it out! derek

Hi, I have two NSU that I can trade for any 50's or 60's big frame Vespa (before 1965, VBB, 125, or Allstate) in good shape (body without dent and motor running, for a restoration project) two scooters for one project. An NSU-Lambretta 150 1955 (autoroller) w th a rough body. Battery box missing.The motor is not seized..
An NSU Prima between 1956 and 59. No VIN plate, missing cylinder barrel, seats, chorme bezel on the horncast and side panels. Body in better shape (no dent on the floor, legshield or front fender), still have its little floor trim, the speedometer, an battery box..
You can use body parts of the Prima on the Autoroller to do a complete scooter. Same motor on both..

Hello mate! I have a '56 Prima 150 D electric start and it is waiting to have a bit of a re-build. I'm travelling at the moment and will hopefully return in a year or two to get it going again. It was a demon before I left England!! It is burgundy like the one in you pictures. I also have three friends that have the same models. One green '56 same as the pictures and two '60s blue and white two tone. They are both in very good condition! Me and my brother (he is electricians) were very happy, when we found your home p ge, it is beautiful prepared. We are moto entusiastics, we have had all kinds of motorcycles (Ducati, Laverda, Gilera, Honda...) and we also have a Prima 150 ccm. It used to belong to our father, who had driven it in 60's (before had also a Prima and Lamb eta too). Our Prima was assembled in Sarajevo at Pretis company, wich was licensed for manufacturing NSU products. Prima is made in 1959, it has 150 ccm (three stars), but it has 175 ccm cylinder instaled. We attend to renovate it completely this winter, it works good, but it is not in perfect (original) condition. We will repaint it to vanilia yellow color, wich was its original color. We also need some spare parts, but that is story for another time. We will contatct you as soon as we made some progres.
