The Restoration Continues!

This is the most crutial part of the restoration! This is what separates the good from the better! In my case it started out with an overall sandblasting, rustproofing and painting. Next came the new suspension pieces - ball joints, bushings, tie rods, and such. Then most things need rebuilding. This part also requires a lot of research and planning. But believe me, you'll be very pleased in the end! I tried to include as many before/after shots as I could. The key to success is contrasts - the factory used lots of diffent colors (grey, black, silver, etc) - they will really make your car stand out!

I tried to make most things appear as they did originaly.  I repicated all the factory inspection markings and replaced the spring tags and other little details like that.  I also retained the original T-3 headlights (I don't know how long I will be able to stand them though).  The brake and fuel lines were replaced with stainless ones so I will never have to worry about them again.
