A Little Bit About The Bike:

My Triumph 500 is a 1958 engine in a 1960 frame, it started life as a 3TA 350. When I bought it about seven years ago it was still a 350 engine and had been used off-road, I ran it like that for a short time and then took it off the road to rebuild it and upgrade the engine to a 500cc.

while I was doing this I had the chance of a cheap sidecar so I put the two together and built an outfit. I started off just using it on the road but while competing in MCC Trials thought it would be a good thing to try with the sidecar.

Since i've been using it off-road i've modified just about every part of the bike, I won't bore you with the complete list but here are a few of the more important ones: Daytona Cylinder Head, Daytona Barrels And Pistens, Tiger 100 Camshafts, Remote Oil Filter, Improved Headlight And Spotlight, Improved Suspension Unit On The Sidecar and a hundred and one other bits and pieces to try and get the bike competitive.

It may not be the most competitive bike in classic trials but it's a lot of fun and it hasn't cost me a fortune to build it. The main modification I would like to do but haven't is to fit a wide ratio gearbox but I have been unable to find one so if you have one lying around then let me know.
