Welcome to my page dedicated to the Great English Formula One Champion Damon
Hill. In this page you will found infos and news about Damon and his race
results.
First of all, one of the reasons that made me want to write this page: Damon
Hill is one of the fastest drivers in Formula One, but, really I can't understand
why he's not much respected (at least here in Italy). Don't listen to this:
I can assure you that Damon is a very good person and a great driver, and
if you don't believe me, go and see all the races that Hill has dominated
from start to finish.

EUROPE GP LAST RACE FOR DAMON?
During the Italy GP radiobox says about rumors - not confirmed - about a
possible retire of Damon after the Europe GP, 26th September. That will
permit to Jarno Trulli, the next Jordan Driver, to race the two final GPs
of the Season with the Irish Team.
PAST NEWS
12th September 1999 - Grand Prix of Monza, Italy
PRACTICE
Disappointing performance by Damon: after two days of qualify, he got
the 9th place, very far from his team-mate, second in starting grid.
RACE
Damon ran a very bad race, without fighting spirit: at start he overtake
Irvine, but at the end of the first lap the Irish overtake Hill too. From
here, Hill followed race without a cue; he did his pit stop during 34th
lap and finished race in 10th place.
- Practice: 9th Place (1.23.979)
- Race: 10th Place
