Rehumanizing patients from numbers to real people, real faces!

11:00 - 11:45 - Marching, media interviews  (senate swamp)
    
Noon - 12:30 - Press Conference 
Senate Swamp (Northeast side) in front of the Capitol Building (Driveway area).
 Senators, Representatives, and others will speak.  Media will be attending. 
Your attendance will demonstrate the need for improved diagnosis and treatment
methods.  You should carry a poster (see below).
    
12:30 pm - 4 pm - Personal visits w/Senators & Representatives 


Wear a  Bell  & Green Ribbon to Help  WAKE-UP WASHINGTON!!!! 
   The sleigh/cow bell lets others know you are there - as you walk through the
halls of the Capitol! Make sure the bells are removable - so you can go through
security.

Your Poster - suggested format. Posters should be bright and large.
    • Your State's (Use Abbreviation) (top left).
    • Patient's Name & Photo  (top center).
    • Cost of the disease - medical bills, lost job time, etc.  (top right)
    • Statment about the patient being a "Face of Lyme Disease" and name the
tick-borne disease(s). (middle center)
    • Photo of LD family members/friends also affected by the patient's illness
- showing the domino affect! 
    • The law prohibits the use of sticks with signs. Everyone will go through
security when entering Congress.
