I am qualified from the Occupational Therapist College, Kuala Lumpur General Hospital. I have been working in HUSM since 1990. My professional interest is rehabilitation in psychiatry as well as in children. At the moment, I am in charge of the rehabilative work in the Department of Psychiatry in HUSM. My contribution is in the Occupational therapy and in the Day Care Centre. My involvement in PERSIKOL is to promote rehabilitation in chronic psychiatric illness as well as general mental health promotion. Treatment for some major psychiatric illnesses is not complete without the rehabilitative component. |
