Assalamualaikum. I am Persikol's
treasurer for the year 1998. My name is Puan Rahimah Bt. Mustaffa. At present
I am one of the staff nurses working in the Psychiatric Clinic, Hospital
Universiti Sains Malaysia.
I am married to a general practitioner, Dr. Zabli B. Yusuf, and we have 5 children. I qualified from School of Nursing, Kubang Kerian Kelantan in 1983. Since then I had worked in medical unit for four years, and later transferred to psychiatric clinic till now. It is my love and interest working with people having psychological problems that motivates me to participate actively in Persikol. Raniah Bt. Omar and I am Persikol's assistant treasurer for the year 1998. At present I am the senior medical officer in the psychiatric department,
Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia.
I am married with six children, and my husband, Dr. Wan Abu Bakar, is an obstetric and gynaecological specialist in the same Hospital. I qualified as a medical doctor (M.B.B.S) University of Malaya, Class of 1981-1986. I have been working in this hospital since my qualification. I have worked in Blood Bank, Accident & Emergency Unit, Outpatient Clinic as well as in ENT. I have been working in Psychiatry since October 1993. Working in Psychiatry has been fulfilling and it helps me to understand people and myself better.
