Lil' Cease of Junior M.A.F.I.A. has every reason to celebrate. "Play Around," The first single from his highly anticipated debut album, "THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CEASE A LEO" is blowing up the airwaves at Radio.

It may not be Willy Wonka's fortress of indulgence, but Lil' Cease's debut solo album, "THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CEASE A LEO," is candy to your ears." That's what the August issue of Vibe magazine had to say about Cease's new joint. This is what the man himself has to say about it: "(I'm) just trying to see the good part of life. That's why my album is on some old let's have some fun sh**. You're not gonna wanna grab a gun and shoot someone. It's some real up-tempo dance sh**." The first single, "Play Around" (RealAudio clip), has lots of people dancing, check it out!

Lil' Cease was named in Notorious' "Notorious 25: Trendsetters, Groundbreakers, and Just Plain Badasses" cover story, which appears in the magazine's summer issue. And why shouldn't he have been, the white-hot rapper is definitely all three!! Notorious rightly notes that Cease "kicked some of the most memorable verses of '96 on Junior M.A.F.I.A. hits like "Get Money" and Lil' Kim's "Crush On You." Now Cease is back with his solo debut, "THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CEASE A LEO," and the slammin' first single, "Play Around" (RealAudio) is taking over radio! The track is from Cease's highly anticipated brand new solo debut, "THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF CEASE A LEO," an album which features quite a bit of playin' around. There's plenty to dance to, and that's the way B.I.G. would have wanted it, Cease explains to The Source in their July issue. "I'm not tryin' to make that dark album," he says, "I like to have fun. Lil' Kim is currently putting the finishing touches on the follow up to her platinum debut smash, "HARD CORE." The new album "Notorious K.I.M" will feature a track with fellow shock diva Grace Jones, whom she met last December in the Bahamas while recording tracks with Sean "Puffy" Combs. The collaboration, titled "Revolution," was laid down in New York a few weeks ago with producer Mario Winans. The new album, which will be released on Kim's Queen Bee label, will hit the streets on August 3rd.
