Frequently I want to know how someone created certain features, like pop-up windows, banners, animations, etc., on his or her Web Site. Or where he downloaded requiered programs or images. It is always irritating, when you can't find it. I would like to avoid that and will mention all the sources where I picked up stuff and features. So here it comes!!

HTML file structure

If you want to view what I have done on my site, View the Sources of the HTML files. Since I am working with frames, and the links won't appear in the status bar, I will give you the HTML file names.
Every file and picture starts with "http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Hills/9609/" ; I will not mention that part anymore.
• index.html ; this file contains the frame structure. The frame consists of the neverchanging "menu" (left top), the "menuindex" (left bottom) and "main" (middle - right part of the window). The parts between ".." are the frame names.
  
  
• menu.html ; this is the menu.
  
  The "menuindex" files and "main" files are loaded simultaniously. Below mentioned first is the "menuindex", then "main" and last the page name.
  
  
• menunoframe.html (a frame file; it loads the files menunoframes.html and menuindex.html, after 30 sec. replaced by only menuindex.html) and sheeptxtjs.html ; Gwynt's Sheep Paradise.

Resources of Pictures and Icons

All the Balls () and Arrows () are obtained from Randy's Icon BAZAAR.


All the Banners (at the top of the pages) and the Backgrounds were created by Gwynt, using Windows 95's
Paint Shop Pro (you can download it at CNET's Download.com; Paint Shop Pro (16 bit version), Paint Shop Pro (32-bit version)).


The animated GIF files () were created by Gwynt, using Paint Shop Pro (see above) for editing images, Scmpoo.exe (see below) for the Sheep. The animations itself were created with the Animation Wizard from the GIF construction set . This program I obtained from Zampano's GIF-Animationen im WWW (German site). A big resource for animation construction sets is Gif Animation!!. You can also use an on-line Gif animation toolbox.


The sheep you see in my background and banners are from a cute Windows Screen Mate program called "Baaaa.exe", the original name is "Scmpoo.exe", procuct name is "Screen Mate Poo", it has a 1996 copyright and was created by Village Center, Inc. (Japan). I picked the zip file up at Stephen's Home Page. You can download scmpoo.zip here. This stupid/brilliant Sheep jumps around in your Windows windows, eats flowers, acts like a fire ball, bounce into each other, get beamed up by a UFO. Really great. Just open it a few times, so that more than one sheep will walk around. You can kill it by clicking on it. And for more fun: install a few copies of the prog in your StartUp. Enjoy it!!
