It is a film for that category of audience which has the guts to watch any type of film with little or no entertainment in it. Amit Mehra's (Inder Kumar) father (Anupam Kher) wants his son to get married to his friend's daughter Sikha (Ritu Purna). But Sikha is already in love with Anand (Chunkey Pandey). When Amit comes to meet Sikha as forced by his father, he runs into with Sanam, Sikha's younger sister. Anand becomes a taxi driver and talks against Sikha so that Amit should refuse to marry her. In due course, Amit and Sanam fall in love with each other. But now the problem is their two fathers. How every thing ends well is the climax of the film. There is also a villain in the film (Rana Jhangbhadur) who kidnaps Sanam for a ransom of Rs 10 crore . It is sad to see the national award winner Ritu Purna in this type of role and in this type of film. Monica Bedi provides glamour in the film. Inder Kumar has done fairly good job. But Chunkey Pandey is a big disappointment. The music is also poor. |
