Sar Aankhon Par Cast: Anuj, Anoushka, Mukul Dev, Ayesha Jhulka, Shammi Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan Director: Viveck Vaswani Music: Jatin-Lalit Rating: * |
The film revolves around people in the film
industry and their obsession for films. Films like Kagaaz
Ke Phool, Guddi have been made on the same theme but
this film Sar Ankhon Par comes nowhere close to those
films. The film revolves around an extra artist in the film industry Sunday (Dilip Joshi). Sunday's wife was a stunt artist. She died in an accident while shooting and the director was just admiring the scene instead of helping the injured lady. Sunday's son Jai (Anuj) was present at the time of the incident and from that time he hates films and filmwalas. Then comes Babli (Anoushka) who wants to become a film actress and she takes help from Sunday in getting some assignments. Jai falls in love with Babli. Later Sunday and his neighbours come to know that Sunday has cancer and the whole film industry gathers and celebrates his birthday. This scene looks nice but is unbelievable. There is too much of melodrama in the film and many scenes are not even believable. The newcomers have to improve a lot. Dilip Joshi has acted well. Music is poor and other technicalities of the film are also poor. |
