Amar Saxena, a lawyer, (Rishi Kapoor) and Seema (Juhi Chawla) love each other. Amar's rich friend Rajiv (Anil Kapoor) is a cassanova. When Rajeev sees Seema he wants her at any cost. However Seema rejects all Rajeev's wealth and marries Amar. Now the twist in the story. Amar meets with an accident and for his operation Seema needs 5 lakh rupees and so out of choice she goes to Rajeev for help. Due to a curfew in the city Seema has to spend the night at Rajeev's office.

The same night, a girl is murdered at Rajeev's home and Amar tries to put blame on Rajeev. However Seema comes to the rescue of Rajeev by saying that she was Rajeev the whole night. A furious Amar throws Seema out of the house. Seema is pregnant and so Rajeev gives shelter to her. 20 years pass for Amar to realise his mistake.

What a story!!! More than any good points, the film has many bad points. First and foremost the film looks stale. The stars of the film don't look like young couples. Rishi Kapoor does not suit the role of a young lawyer. Juhi is good in emotional scenes, however looks very awkward dancing with Rishi. Anil Kapoor is reliable. Music does not rise above average.

A forgettable fare.
