Raju (Bobby Deol) is a waiter in a Uddipi hotel. He falls in love with TV anchor Geeta (Karisma Kapoor). Geeta works as a crime reporter and also anchors the show on TV. The only thing Raju does is sing and dance with Geeta in his dreams. In investigating one of the cases, Geeta comes to the same hotel where Raju works and wants to ask Raju some question as he was the last person to have served the food to the dead person. To impress Geeta and to spend more time with her, Raju tells a lie that he has witnessed the murder.

Geeta behaves as if she is in love with Raju and even forces him to give an interview on her show. The interview is seen by the murderers who now go after Raju and Geeta. On the other hand Raju's description of the killer matches that of his friend Kutty (Johnny Lever). Then there is the story of Geeta's missing brother. The director gets entangled in so many twists that the main story gets missed out.

Bobby Deol has some good moments in the lighter scenes but then with this type of charactersiation he has nothing much to do. Karisma Kapoor looks beautiful but disappoints the audience as her role is not upto the mark. The only highlight of the film is the title song which is catchy. A film which can be definitely be missed.
