Zack Taylor was the original black ranger. He was chosen along with four other teens to receive a great power which was drawn from the spirits of the dinosaurs. These powers would give them the ability to transform into a fighting force only known as the Power Rangers.
Zordon a wise wizard and the rangers mentor chose Zack for his bravey and cleverness.
Zack drew his powers from the mastodon. His weapon was the power axe. Only when he was morphed would he be known as... The Black Ranger.
A peace conference in Switzerland cut Zack's rangerhood short. So he passed on his powers on to Adam Park, a friend of the rangers.
