Jason Lee Scott was the original red ranger. He was chosen along with four other teens to receive a great power which was drawn from the spirits of the dinosaurs. These powers would give them the ability to transform into a fighting force only known as the Power Rangers.
Zordon a wise wizard and the rangers mentor chose Jason for his strong will and martial art capabilities.
Jason drew his powers from the mighty tyrannosaurus rex. His weapon was the power sword. Only when he was morphed would he be known as... The Red Ranger.
A peace conference in Switzerland cut Jason's rangerhood short. So he passed down his powers to Rocky DeSantos a faithful friend of the rangers.
