After transferring to Angel Grove from Stone Canyon along with two of his friends, Rocky and Aisha, they become friends with the teens, not knowing who they really were.
Then one day while being rescued by the Power Rangers, the blue ranger has some trouble with a snake and ends up having to take his helmet off to breath. While the rangers warn Adam, Rocky and Aisha to stay back. The three can't help but wonder who's under that mask. They find out there friends true identities and keep it a secret.
When Zack is picked to attend a peace conference in Switzerland, Adam is chosen to take his place as the black ranger. Thats the day when Adam Parks life changed forever. For he has become the black ranger. Controller of the mastodon powers and keeper of the power axe.










When a cosmic creature named Ivan Ooze is accidently uncovered by construction workers, Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa take full advantage of this opportunity and release him from his hyper lock chamber.
Immediately Ivan goes after Zordon who had imprisoned him six thousand years earlier. While attacking the Command Center he destroys practically everything in site. Causing it to shut down and the powers to be lost... forever.
Yet all was not lost. Alpha 5, Zordons trusted assistant, was able to teleport the rangers to the distant plant Phaedos to retreive the sacred ninjetti powers.
Shortly after there arrival the teens meet Dulcea, master warrior of the planet Phaedos. When she learns of what's happening on earth she leads the rangers to the ruins of the sacred ninjetti temple. There she bestows upon them the power of ninjetti.
Adam's power now came from his animal ninjetti spirit. The.. frog? Yes that's right the frog. Like the one you kiss to get a handsome prince.
