Most of the Boys agreed that "All I Have To Give" was their favourite. As Nick said, "I think it's a chance we all get to sing one song all together, you know? Howie adds to Nick's thought, "I just think it's a really great song; like nicky said, all of us aare singing on it. It's a good, true representation of the Backstreet Boys. The sound of the song is really good-- I mean, I think it's gonna be one of the songs that's definitely gonna cross us over into the Adult Contemporary, even the Urban market, I think. It's a very fun song to perform onstage. We have a hat routine... it's got a good sound, and like i said, it's a heck of a lot of fun to work with those guys [Full Force]."
Brian and kevin are cousins, and maybe they have some telepathy going on between them, because they both said that "Darling" was their favourite track. Or maybe they just have similar tastes! Actually, Brian really couldn't settle on one song as a favourite, so he relieved his mind by telling us both of his favourite songs. "I like love songs, I like really laid-back songs that are very simple, easy to listen to, and ["Darling"] is a good song to perform to and it's probably one of the most R&B-type songs that we have, as far as track-wise and vocals," Brian states, as Kevin agrees. "That's what I like about it, but i like 'As Long As You Love Me,' too.... i didn't think i could hear a record better than 'Quit Playing Games' because of the fact of how catchy it is. 'As Long as You Love Me' is a step up from ' Quit Playing Games,' but it's just as catchy." The two songs do have similar vibes, and both are awesome! No wonder Brian has such a tough time choosing! Besides "Darling," Kevin loves "Set Adrift." "We really enjoyed working with P.M. Dawn when we worked with them [They're] real deep guys." it was a great experience for the Backstreet Boys to be able to work with P.M. Dawn, one of the many groups that they look up to, so this song is especially close to Kevin, because he will always remember recording it.
A.J., of course, immediately blurts out, "My answer's kinda weird.: He had to be prompted, and then finally blurted out, "I like, uh, 'All I Have to Give.' It is just very diversified because when you're listening to it, you hear so many different voices. But, the other song that's my ultimate favourite, is a song that's actually not on the U.S. album, it was on our second European album-- it's a song called '10 000 Promises.' It's just a very, very deep song about trust, relationships. We also used to perform it live at our show; Kev would play it on piano and Nick would play it on drums."
A.J. summed it up for all when asked if "10 000 Promised" was going to be his favourite for a long time-- "Oh, yeah!"
