Louis Moon Kauakahi
Louis "Moon" Kauakahi (he'll be 43 on July 30) is a great guy and a wonderful musician (not implying that John and Jerome aren't whatsoever!).  He is married to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's sister, Lydia.  Lydia's Halau, Halau Kahanuola, often performs with the Makaha Sons.  The two have one adopted daughter, Hoku.  She was always the most bashful of all the Makaha Sons' kids.
John Koko
John is an incredibly talented vocalist and musician and is one of the most underrated musicians in Hawai'i.  He turns 37 this year (Aug. 24) and his oldest son graduates from Kamehameha School this year.  He also has twins which are around 10 years old and his youngest son is 9.  When John isn't playing music, he is busy at his job as an automotive upholsterer which he has held for many years.  In addition to music, John does some fine impersonations, including an especially funny routine poking fun at the Cazimeros.  John is also a fine artist and has learned to oil paint.
Jerome Koko
Jerome goes by the nickname "Jerry" (he'll be 43 on Sept. 22) and is also an extremely nice person.  Even though the group has gained an incredible amount of fame, Jerry remains humble.  He taught John everything he knows about the bass, and John idolizes him for the support.  The brothers are very close.  His son has graduated from Kamehameha and his eldest daughter, Jerri Lynn graduates this year.  She and John's son, Kapua, are the same age.  She is a beautiful girl who was a runner up in the Keiki Hula festival a few years ago.  His youngest daughter, Jessica is 14.  Jerry's wife, Landa, sews most of their stage outfits and has been doing professional seamstress work for a while now.  Landa is well loved by all and is always there for support.
