Kidding...my father seems to think I'm an alien, but I was born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, on August 22, 1976, which puts me at the ripe old age of 20, for a few more days anyway. I like to fancy myself a writer, at least in the way of dark poetry and creepy short stories. I am a very fanatical television viewer...this year Jacqueline Collen got the fun of being my favorite, and The Adventures of Sinbad along with her. I'm really into science fiction and fantasy programs, Hercules, Xena, Sinbad, pretty near any Star Trek (except the original, I've never learned to appreciate classic tv); my all time favorite shows are The Dukes of Hazzard, and Space: Above & Beyond.
SciFi fan, and still, somehow, somewhere in my life, this city girl became a country girl - who knew? -
my first love will always be for dogs and horses. These are my sheepdogs, Ralph is sitting, English is the larger, grey and white dog laying down, and Daisy is the smaller, very black coated dog laying down. They are all really amazing creatures, as is my pup. At christmas we got a golden retreiver puppy we call Kutya, meaning dog in Hungarian. He was nine months on the 25th of July, and now is as big as one of the sheepdogs, but wasn't he cute the night we got him? They all are perhaps the most loyal and loving companions I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and are irreplacable in my heart.
What else? Well... my favorite thing to do, besides writing (and annoying the goddess :P), is to listen to music.. I am totally into the Cranberries, Alanis, and a few other alternative groups, but my main area is country, both old and new. I love Celtic music, and I have a thing for the NIN song, Happiness in Slavery (don't ask me why.. I just do..:P).
As for my personal habits, I am in the process of switching over into vegitarian living; at the moment I eat only white meats. I plan on going fully into being a vegitarian over the next little while (the hardest part is getting my family to go along with me.. yikes! :P). I work long hours, and I play just as many hours...so I get very little sleep... but that never bothers me.. :) I'm happy where I am right now; within two years I'll have my bachelors degree in honours english, and then I will have to decide what I am going to do with my life. I will tell you this, however, one day my name will be on the best sellers list, and my fondest dream will be complete.
There really isn't much else I can say about myself... I have three best friends: twins, Anita and Benita, whom I have known for almost sixteen years, and Shaiza, who I met in grade nine, coming up on eight years ago. You just don't get any better friends than these three! I can never wait to go home to visit them all; I don't get to see them as often as I would like, but I plan on rectifying that situation as soon as possible! Finally, I love to go see musicals in downtown Toronto, and should I ever get the chance to visit New York, the first thing I'll do is go see a broadway show.
Thanks for visiting me!! I hope you survived the trip! :) Be well!
