Disclaimer: This Fan Fiction is completely made up. I do not own the characters of Dawson's Creek, or tell them what to do. This episode will never air on the WB, as I leave that to the lovely people who are supposed to do it.

Dawson picks up a video, and glares at it intensely. The cover shows E.T., but he doesn't see it. His eyes wander far ahead, and think about his messed up life.

He mutters to himself, "My life sucks. No dad, no Joey, no one to rely on." Dawson slams down the video on the counter and sits down on his bed. "Who can I call for support? Not Joey...she's out with Jack. Not Jen...she's probably drunk somewhere. Not Andie...with that family crisis and all." Dawson thinks a little bit more, and suddenly his eyes brighten.

Joey wipes down one of the counters, and looks around at the empty Ice House. Jack is on a leave of absence with family problems, and Bessie is gone for the night. She puts up a chair, only to have it fall back on the ground with a crash. Joey sighs, then bends over to pick it up. She hears someone walking in the background, and stops suddenly.

"Hey Joey."

"Hey Chris."

Pacey sighs, and writes the answer to number 5 on his math homework. He decided to actually do it because of his messed up life. There is a knock on the door. Pacey sighs again, "come in."

The door opens, and Deputy Doug walks in. "Hey little brother."

"Look, I don't have time to listen to you ramble about me being a failure."

"I didn't come here to insult you. I came here to talk to you."

Pacey turns around and looks at his brother. "About what?"

"Andie."

"Look, Jack, Mom is in the hospital. We have to stay normal. You should go back and work at The Ice House. Sitting around here isn't going to do you any good." Says Andie McPhee.

"Andie, I can't. I have too much on my mind. Plus, I can't face Joey." Responds Jack.

"Well, you have to keep working, or we're going to go bankrupt. In fact, if you don't go back, I think I will."

"Fine."

"Fine."

Abby's phone rings 3 times before she decides to answer it. "If it's Jen again, I'm going to scream." She picks up the phone.

"Hello?" Abby says at the person on the phone.

"Abby?" replies the voice. It's a guy.

"Who is this?"

"Dawson. Dawson Leery. I need to talk to you."

"Me? Why me? How about Joey or Jen?"

"No, Abby. You are the only one who will understand. I need you to come over here right now."

Abby can't believe that Dawson just invited her over. She's not too fond of him, but decides to check into the situation. It could be good gossip. "OK, fine. I'll come over, Dawson. But I can't stay long."

Abby hangs up, and rushes over to the mirror. Her hair is becoming brown again, and she runs a brush through it. She puts on a tiny touch of makeup, and gets into a short, sexy dress without any shoulder straps. Abby picks up her purse, throws in a few beauty supplies, and heads out the door.

Chris and Joey sit at one of the counters at The Ice House.

"So, Joey, tell me. How's everything?"

Joey does her little half smile. "Well, actually, it sucks. Jack is ignoring me with the family trouble, and Dawson doesn't even wanna talk to me."

"That sucks. Well, Jen is always getting drunk, so I decided to get away from her for a while."

Joey smiles a little bit more, "I can understand that."

They sit there and stare into each other's eyes.

"I-I should get back to closing," Joey says nervously.

"Let me help you," responds Chris quickly.

Joey shrugs, "If that's what you want to do!"

She gets up and begins to wipe off a table, and Chris takes her by the arm. He leans over and slightly kisses her on the lips. Joey accepts the kiss and returns it with the same feeling. After about 5 seconds, she backs away and picks up a plate. Joey doesn't look directly into Chris' eyes, and he puts a chair up.

Pacey is interested now in what his older brother has to say.

"How did you know about me and Andie anyway? I never told you."

Doug holds up a letter. "Well, this is the first clue. A love note."

Pacey sighs. "Well, we're broken up now."

Doug has never been interested in Pacey's life, but decides to talk to him anyway.

"Little brother, you have to get over her. Find someone to comfort you."

"Like who?"

"A female. One of your friends."

Pacey thinks about it, and Doug slowly walks out of the room.

"Hey Doug?"

The deputy turns around, "yeah?"

"Thanks."

"No problem."

Andie lies on her bed, and Jack sits on the floor next to her. Jack snores slightly, while Andie thinks on the bed.

"What if Mom never gets better?" she thinks to herself. Andie sighs, and slowly falls asleep, thinking only about her sick mother.

Jen spins around, but only in her head. The ground looks blue, and she falls onto the ground. One of her arms is slightly sprained from the fall. She pukes on the ground. "I'm never getting drunk again."

Abby climbs through the window and sees Dawson weeping on the bed.

"Oh, Dawson, tell Abby what's wrong," Abby says, climbing up on the bed. She begins to massage his shoulders.

"OK, you know the story about Joey. Jen is always drunk. Pacey is moping about Andie, and Andie is having family problems. My parents are divorced. You are the only sane one in this whole group of people. I need comfort, and surely no one else can give me it because of their own problems." Dawson tells her.

Abby thinks for a minute. "Dawson...I realize you've been having a lot of trouble lately. There's no real advice I can give you, except for one thing." Dawson looks up at her, "What's that?"

Abby sits down on the bed next to him, and puts her hand on his. Then, she leans over and begins to kiss him lightly. He thinks over the situation for a moment, and kisses her back. Dawson and Abby's kiss continues, and it begins to get more passionate. Before you can say a word, they are down on the bed making out.

Joey eyes Chris as he continues to put up the chairs. Feeling a rush of passion towards him, she runs over and begins to kiss him again. Chris is surprised by this maneuver, but accepts the kiss and tongues her back. They kiss passionately for about 10-15 seconds, and then Joey backs off.

"What was that for?" Chris asks.

"I need comfort with everything that is wrong in my life. You just seem like the only sane person available."

"Well, that's OK."

Joey walks back and picks up a carrier with dishes and forks, and takes it back to the kitchen. She makes three more rounds picking up stuff, and goes back into the kitchen to wash dishes. Chris comes back to help her. She picks up the sprayer and playfully sprays him. He laughs and, after grabbing the sprayer, sprays her back. She laughs a little, and starts to wash. With Chris helping Joey, they are done after about 20 minutes.

Pacey sits at his desk, thinking over what his older brother told him. Pacey decides to call Jen. He picks up the phone and dials Jen's number. Someone answers. It is Jen's Grandmother.

"Hello?"

Yes, this is Pacey. Is Jen there?"

"No, I'm afraid she's not. But I can have her call you when she gets home."

"Thank you."

Pacey hangs up and sighs. He begins to doodle on a piece of paper. Without knowing it, he draws a bunch of figures that combine to look like Andie McPhee.

Jen gets up, and wipes herself off. Her dress is ruined, and she feels woozy. The nearest house is Pacey, so she decides to walk there.

Abby continues to make out with Dawson, and he kisses her back. They roll around on the bed, and she begins to mess with his hair. It is getting slightly messed up, and Dawson is getting more and more into the kiss. He begins to rub her back in passion, and she lets him. Man, if Jen could see me now, Abby thinks to herself.

Jen rings the doorbell at Pacey's house. She falls down on the front stoop, and sits there waiting for him to answer. The door opens, and Deputy Doug appears at the opening in the door.

"I-I'm here for Pacey." Jen says.

"OK. He's upstairs, and I can help you up there if you want." Doug responds

"Thanks, but I'll manage myself." Jen pulls herself up and slowly creeps up the stairs. When she gets to the door, she falls again and hits her head on the door. Pacey hears a knock. "Come in." When no one comes in, he goes over to the door and opens it. Jen falls into his arms, and he puts her up on his bed.

Joey and Chris walk out of The Ice House, and Joey turns off all the lights and locks up on the way out. She smirks at Chris slyly.

"What are you smiling at?" Chris asks.

"Ah...nothing." Joey responds, with a beam in her eyes.

He leans over and kisses her on the cheek as they walk over to her boat. She starts to get in, but Chris pulls her back out.

"I've got my car. Leave this here, and you can pick it up tomorrow."

"OK." Joey walks with Chris over to his mini-truck/van, and climbs in. She straps in, and he pulls off, making some sand spin into the air. Joey smiles as she looks at Chris with a passion, then frowns a bit. He can't compare to Dawson, she thinks.

Dawson is sitting up on the bed, and his hair is messed up. He fixes it, and looks at Abby. Her dress is starting to fall, and she fixes it with a tug. She sits on the bed next to him.

"So, Dawson, what did you want to talk to me about?" Abby says.

"Nothing at all...You just solved my problem." Abby leans her head on his shoulder as Dawson puts his arm around her.

"Abby?"

"Yeah?"

"Did you ever think...m-me and you?"

"No. Never. I always thought you were a little weird, but you just proved me wrong."

Dawson smiles at Abby, "Well, I'm glad we've got that cleared up!"

Andie kisses Pacey passionately, and wraps her arms around him. He kisses her back, and they fall down on his bed. He tongues her hard, and pulls away. Pacey starts to walk out of the room, and Andie runs after him. He is faster than her, and is out of the door before she can get out of the room. When Andie steps out, the floor is gone and she starts falling...

Andie McPhee wakes up screaming, and Jack is immediately awoken by her. She jumps out of bed and runs out of the room. Jack hears the door slam, and he decides to go back to sleep rather than go after her.

Jen slowly arises from her unconscious state, and sees Pacey sitting and writing.

"Thanks, Pace."

Pacey turns around and sees Jen trying to sit up. He rushes over and helps her up. "No problem. No problem at all!"

Jen excuses herself to go to the washroom. She pulls out a breath mint, puts it in her mouth and chews it up. She brings out a brush and runs it through her hair, and then Jen straightens her dress out. After checking her appearance one more time, Jen goes back into Pacey's room.

"Well, you look better," Pacey says.

Jen goes up to Pacey, throws her arms around him, and begins to kiss him. He starts to hesitate, but decides against it. Pacey kisses her back, and can taste the breath mint. They kiss for about 20 seconds before Pacey pushes her back. She stumbles, startled, and falls back onto the bed.

"Sorry, Jen, but I'm still in love with Andie."

Chris pulls up to the front of Joey's house. "Well, here we are," Chris says.

"Yep. Here we are." Joey replies, kinda shaky.

Chris notices her shaking and is curious, "Why are you shaking?"

Joey stops immediately, and looks at him. "I'm not shaking!"

"But I just...oh, nevermind." He leans over to kiss her, but she resists because of her feelings for Dawson. He doesn't want to kiss Chris anymore.

"What's wrong, Joey?" He puts his hand on her leg, and she quickly jumps out of the car and runs into the house, leaving Chris stunned. He slowly pulls away.

The TV runs, showing the movie E.T. Dawson is not paying attention though, and Abby is looking but not actually watching.

Me and Dawson, she thinks. I can't believe it. Wait until Jen hears.

Meanwhile, Dawson thinks, I can't believe I just made out with Abby Morgan. Well, at least I have someone to confide in until I can forgive Joey. I guess I can assume me and Abby are a 'Thing' now.

Abby kisses Dawson on the cheek, and on the neck. She gets up and begins to feel all around his back and neck, and Abby gives Dawson a massage.

Dawson just sits there and thinks about everything, not even noticing that Abby is moving. He just looks at the TV screen and drifts off into his own little space.

Andie McPhee runs into her Saab, and puts the key in the ignition. She turns the key, and the car chokes and sputters. She turns it again and the car starts up with a roar. Immediately, Andie puts the car in overdrive and sets out toward Pacey's house, going 10 miles over the speed limit

Jen is asleep, while Pacey sits and thinks about his relationship with Andie, and how she dumped him. The events replay in his mind...

Andie and Pacey sit at Andie's house, and her Mom has just been taken to the hospital. He starts to say something, but she interrupts. "Pacey, I-I...I have to..."

Andie stops what she is saying, but Pacey picks up the rest.

"You have to break up with me," he finishes for her.

"Um...yeah...not break up, but just a separation."

"Andie, don't try to make this into something it's not. Separation is the exact same thing as breaking up." Pacey picks up his jacket and begins to walk out the door. Andie rushes up to him and gives him a small kiss.

"Just think about that..."

Pacey sighs, thinking about how he wants her back, when the doorbell rings. Could it be?, he thinks. Pacey runs downstairs to get the door. He opens it, only to find Andie McPhee standing outside. She immediately rushes in and begins to kiss him passionately, and you can hear the sounds they make. Pacey kisses her back, and smiles to himself, because his mouth is busy...

The next day at school...

Jack sighs and walks to his locker. What a night he had last night. After Andie had come home around 10, they had gotten a call that their Mom was being put into intensive care, and could remain there for another month or more. After dropping his book, Jack bends over to pick it up, and begins to walk to class. Dawson is approaching him, so he runs the other way, ignoring Dawson's calls to come back.

Abby stands next to Dawson at his locker.

"Dawson?" she asks.

"Yeah?" he responds, tired from being up late.

She leans over and begins to kiss him, and Dawson sees Joey walk by. He leans into the kiss more, and Joey glares at Abby and Dawson, but keeps walking. Dawson pulls back, and smiles at Abby.

"You enjoy doing that, don't you?" she says.

"Doing what?" Dawson responds, acting innocent.

"Kissing me harder when Joey is passing."

"OK, I have to admit that I do. However, I do enjoy kissing you for other reasons."

He kisses her again, says bye, and walks off.

Pacey and Andie walk into school holding hands, and they run into Dawson.

"Hey Dawson," say Andie and Pacey together.

"Hey guys. I have, incredible news. Pacey, do you..mind if we talk privately?"

"Oh, no problem Dawson. Excuse me, Andie," Pacey replies.

"OK, bye Pacey, bye Dawson." Andie walks off, leaving Dawson and Pacey alone.

"What is it, Dawson?" Pacey asks.

"I made out with Abby last night," Dawson replies.

"Abby? You mean Abby Morgan? The Abby Morgan?"

"Yes, I did. I actually feel...better."

"Well, Dawson, even though that isn't the most commendable moment, if it makes you happy, then I'm happy for you. But I have news about Andie and Myself." Pacey says, smirking.

"Let me guess...You are back together?"

"You are a genius! How did you ever guess?"

"I don't know. I guess I have ESP or something," Dawson says, smirking back.

"Well, I'll see you later, man. Here comes Joey, and she looks pretty peeved."

"Dawson? Can we talk?" Joey says, politely.

"Actually, right now isn't the best time," Dawson replies.

"Look, I'm not giving you an option. We need to talk."

"OK, fine, talk."

"I-I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD KISS ABBY MORGAN!!" Joey says, then calms down a bit. "Why Dawson? To make me feel bad? Well, I've got news for you. You succeeded!"

Dawson frowns a bit. "Well, Joey, you decided to kiss Jack, so I decided to explore other opportunities as well."

Joey becomes even more steamed, and wants to get rid of it, "So you kissed Abby just to pay me back?"

"No. I like Abby. More than you at the moment. Joey, we're only friends! Why are you so mad about this?"

Without answering, Joey slaps him across the face and walks away. Dawson puts his hand up to his face and holds it in pain, both from the slap and from love.

The school day goes on slowly for the teens, especially Joey and Dawson, who are both thinking about their relationship. However, Andie, Pacey, and Abby are the only happy ones. Jen is not even there due to the fact of being sick. Finally, the bell rings and everyone is released. Joey sees Dawson through the crowd of people, and runs up to catch up with him. Dawson sees her coming and starts walking, but she calls his name and he stops. Joey walks up to him and Dawson is surprised as Joey takes her hands, puts them around his head, and begins to kiss him with a passion they only experienced on their first kisses. The episode ends with the camera focusing intently on Joey kissing Dawson
