The Neverending Story

NES is the movie closest to my heart and has been for as long as I can remember. The story is precious and the characters are adorable, and lest I forget to mention that I have an eternal crush on young Noah Hathaway!

Synopsis: A vulnerable, shy young boy named Bastian (Barrett Oliver) discovers a mysterious book and holes up in the attic of his school to read it. The movie becomes a story-within-a-story as Bastian follows the adventures of a boy warrior named Atreyu (Noah Hathaway) in his quest to find a cure for the dying Emperess of Fantasia. Then Bastian discovers that he himself is actually in the story, and that it is up to him to save the Empress.

I have received lots of emails asking about names. Well, the white flying luck dragon is Falkor and the black wolf is the Gmork. The name Bastian screamed is supposed to be Moon Child.

I've also gotten lots of messages from people who used the auryn graphic on my welcome page as a design for their tattoos. Well, so have I! It's in the middle of my lower back. What a great tattoo. Rock on, people...
