A couple musically talented guys got together one dark and stormy day and said "'Ey. I can sing. You can sing. And the dimwit over there can play gee-tar. So why don't we all go eat lunch?!"
And so LICK didn't actually come about until a few days later.
We have Delight jammin on main guitar, Wiggy the Pianoman bustin some tunes out of his old baby grand, Steambo percussing, Howie on tail, and Quarty on lead vocals!
So here we have our four-man (and one whale) pony punk group!!!!
Interview with the Band
Interviewer (int): How did you get the name Lick?
Steamer: (Licks the Interviewer)
Int: Oh.
Delight: It was just good Karma.
Int: What kind of music do you guys play?
Wiggy: Punk, skaa, rock. Anything where we can scream a lot.
Delight: Sometimes we do barbershop quartet.
Int: Really?
Delight: It makes us feel dirty.
Int: How did the four of you--
Howie: HOWIE!!
Int: Uh.... five of you get together?
Quarty: I think I was drunk. That's the only way I can explain it.
Delight: Good Karma, man.
Int: Who does the song writing?
All of them: I do.
Int: Uh...
Delight: It's a zen thing, baby.
Int: You're not saying much, Steamer.
Steamer: Quarty told me not to.
Quarty: It's for the good of the Nation. Trust me.
Int: Quarty, I have to ask. What's with the tight pink pants?
Quarty: I borrowed them out of Troy's closet. I thought they might add a little spice.
Int: So... you are like a male version of the Spice Girls?
Quarty: Don't make me rip your tongue out.
Int: Isn't Troy your gay son?
Quarty: Don't make me rip your tongue out.
Int: Uh.... Wiggy. You seem so sophistocated. How did you decide you wanted to play for a punk band?
Wiggy: I'm a lawyer.
Int: So?
Wiggy: I like screaming.
Howie: Howie!!
Int: How did you become a part of Lick, Howie?
Howie: Howie!!
Int: Um....
Wiggy: Howie's our mascot. Have you seen his tongue? He can lick more people than the four of us put together. It's phenominal.
Quarty: He licks fans during the concerts. It adds to the experience.
Delight: It's great for Karma.
Wiggy: If you say "karma" one more time I am going to ram that guitar up your--
Int: Ah-hem. This is a family show, gentlemen.
Quarty: What's a family?
Wiggy: Family's shouldn't be watching this junk. They should be out having picnics. Building strong interfamilial bonds.
Quarty: Making cheesecake.
Wiggy: Precisely.
Int: Well..... I'm afraid that's all the time I have.
Quarty: But I haven't showed you my pitching arm yet.
Wiggy: Or my sock collection.
Delight: Or my great Karma!!
Wiggy: GRAAAAAAAA!!!!!
